My son has a stable of Ryobi tools including this one which caused me to consider getting this as I needed a light, and have retired my 15 yo Bosch cordless drill. After reading reviews of other lights, and of other tool platforms I was perhaps not surprised to learn that more money doesnt necessarily buy quality. I theorize that their greedy CEOs and beancounters have outsourced too much, perhaps even the design of their cordless tools. Ryobi, being a Japanese company likely has better design, and quality control even tho products are built in China. OK, anyway I used my sons light working under his house, and liked it. Using mine since, I still like it. It is stable, flexible, and with the 4aH battery, lasts a long time. Its a great work light.

Excellent light level and flexible use. Switch is a little exposed and sometimes gets turned on accidentally. Brief training time remedied handling without turning on switch.

A great LED work light to add to your Ryobi tool collection. We experience continuous load shedding and this work light is perfect to continue working in my workshop during those load shedding times. Various options to either hang it, mount it or just having it standing at the work area.

Over the last few years, Ive been transitioning many of my lights to Ryobi 18v to avoid the high cost disposable batteries in many different sizes. I have the Ryobi spot light and the work lights in both folding and fixed sizes. Cannot say enough good things about all of them. Very bright, very versatile, very convenient for different uses, and they all run off the same battery. Fantastic for power outages and if you go through all the batteries you can recharge on your generator. However, they last a long time. I can highly recommend all the Ryobi lighting Ive tried.

it was just what we had wanted. We loose lights here and this will be great for the next time they are out.

You need light. You need it with you in the case of emergency, power outage, or regular day-to-day work in dark places. The Ryobi P727 is the right light for many applications. It runs up to 9 hours on a single 4ah battery. Its dual LED bank system is of a unique design. It can pivot up to 270 degrees around a central axis, giving you optimal coverage. This light has a plethora of hanging options, too. From an extendable hook, to keyholes for nails, to mounting brackets, you can use this for any application. It easily hangs from your car’s hood if you’re doing repairs. The P727 can hang in your tent for camping trips. Keep it around the house in the event of a power outage. At 950 lumens, the possibilities are nearly limitless with this powerful work light.
