> 3 dayWe love this light! But be careful. If you have both lights on, it blows through the battery.

> 3 dayMuch better work area light than the P780. This lamp (P727) has multiple configurations and hanging options and is much brighter. However, the P780 feels much sturdier (thicker plastic parts) and has a better handle. The hanging options (hooks/eyelets) on the P727 do not feel strong or reliable and there is no handle to carry the lamp. Still, due to the versatility of this lamp and the increased light output, I would consider this the better work area light. Note: The P780 is still a fine night light or camping light and the P720 is a very bright (brightest of these three) spot/work area light.

Greater than one weekI ordered this to light my rooms during electrical failures. Its a lot of light, so it will certainly do that. And its part of the Ryopbi Plus family, so you need the rechargeable battery and base. From a design standpoint I imagined that both wings of the device would lift (in that position you could hook it to the ceiling, and uplight the whole thing) but they dont; just one leaf is hinged. And when its in the most open position it makes a linear-light twice as long as just using one side. It is extremely good as a directional light (as opposed to a lantern type light) It is great for a desk task-lamp in an outage. Just open it to 270 degrees. I also use it under desks to get some light on cords when Im seeking out a connection problem. I think the designer could have simmered down with all the facets and flanges. The hooks seem to be in non-intuitive (unbalanced) places. There is no flashing mode for this item, so maybe not for use with vehicle breakdowns. Be careful with the lamp in the most extended position if you are using it on a table or the floor. It tips over very easily.

> 3 dayExcellent light level and flexible use. Switch is a little exposed and sometimes gets turned on accidentally. Brief training time remedied handling without turning on switch.
