Great solution for the charging needs of large family gatherings.

I purchased 2 of these units in 2015. Both units have been robust and dependable. There 2A limit is a bit behind the times and the 12A max is an odd choice, but it’s great for charging my VR accessories in a single spot. I have wanted to check which of the ports would push 2A when every port is being utilized, but i don’t have enough devices that can pull over 1A nor the tools to verify. I would think it’s the ports closest to the power inlet, but if that’s really that important to you, get an Anker.

Solid piece of gear

This product seemed great in the beginning but after a week or so of using it, I realized that I couldnt use all 10 USB ports at the same time. I use it to charge robots that I teach coding with. When all 10 are plugged in and charging for more than the necessary time to get the robots to100%, I end up with 3 or 4 that die within a few minutes of use. In order to charge all 10 robots I have to plug 3 of them into my computer. I am disappointed that I cant use this product for what it was purchased for.

Burnt out w/ smoke after two weeks use. Returned.
