SABRENT M.2 NVMe PS5 heatsink (SB-PSHS)

I am sure this is a great drive and this is just an information post.

Installed great works as expected. Well worth the money.

Works as advertised! Just know that M.2 speeds are like wifi signals the speed is not a guarantee and fluctuates.

Its easy to install and the mass alone makes you feel confortable that is going to cool the SSD properly. I cant test the cooler myself, so I would encourage people to look for reviews online that can do a proper job at it, but if you only want to know if its worth it or not, dont worry, its totally worth it. One little thing to note is that when you insert the SSD and put down the Sabrent cooler, it will resist a little bit, but its normal, so dont worry about it too much if you decided to buy this.

Easy to Install soon as I received it I changed out the factory one that came with my ps5 to this one and my game hasn’t overheated yet. 5️⃣⭐️’s

This drive is super fast but its honestly not near as fast as claims make. I have a brand new dark hero motherboard, 128gb gskill ram, motherboard is stock configuration but some changes, (nothing to drives or slots) and this performs out of the box on Ubuntu 22.04 as 5.1gbps reads and 3gbps writes without tweaking the disk on perf tests ran multiple times. People complain about it not lasting long because of wear. I would have done much more research if I had read more carefully in the reviews. Many motherboards these days come with multiple nvme slots, so its best to get two smaller drives and raid 0 them (striped) for much better performance. Overall impressed with the drive but the numbers dont yet add up for me. maybe someone did better tweaking.

Soit disant l’un des meilleurs pour la PS5. Encore aurait il fallut qu’il fonctionne. Essayé sur un PC, non reconnu, essayé sur la PS5, non reconnu. 400€ pour ça ?

I bought this for my PS5 Adata Gammix S70 Blade ssd. I already had installed the included thin heat sink that came with the Adata. I didn’t want to risk removing it and damaging the ssd.

Easy to install and it works absolutely fine with the ps5 just make sure you get the correct size double sided heatsink if you get the 2Tb or 4Tb!
