> 3 dayThe bearings I received were corroded (ok, they are carbon steel and not stainless) and felt greasy. Grease should not be leaking out of these things, even if they are merely shielded and not actually sealed. They were also rough to turn, as though the races and balls were badly pitted, or had dirt inside. I started to wonder if they were actually used, and salvaged from old skateboards. Thank goodness Amazon takes returns. I ended up buying a different bearing for 2x the price, still very cheap, and a much better product. Don’t waste your time with these.

> 3 dayPoor quality control. One of the bearings was kind enough to be missing a side shield so I could see the guts of the thing. The side wasnt in the tube, it must be somewhere at the factory. You can see the bearing to the lower right of that one is either made incorrectly or possibly inserted backwards? idk. Luckily they should work for my application since its pretty light duty.

> 3 dayPros: - Cheap - Comes with shipping oil to keep out any grit/grime Cons: - The QC is awful I purchased two packs of these to use for a project and found that 10 of the 40 bearings had issues. Many were minor such as small dents/dings in the shields, but there were a few where the entire inner or outer bearing piece has been chewed to bits. If youre going to buy these, make sure you buy extras since about a quarter of them might be faulty. Since this was fulfilled by Amazon, Im unable to contact the seller for replacements and dont want to return the rest. Still three stars though, you get what you pay for.

> 3 dayThey roll. Several of them have dents in the steel seals, but honestly, as long as they turn smoothly, I dont care.

Greater than one weekThese bearings are smooth and seem fairly well made. Unfortunately the manufacturer used a very thick lubricant — probably a heavy grease — so theres quite a bit of friction and they dont spin for very long. If you want them to spin freely with minimal force, youll need to clean out the grease using mineral spirits or maybe WD-40 and then replace it with a lighter grease or maybe just some oil. Ill probably try a different brand next time in the hope that I find some that dont need their lubricant replaced.

> 3 dayI bought these bearings for the fan motor in my bathroom. I used a proper two-jaw puller to pull off the old bearings and to my surprise these new bearings just dropped right onto the shaft, even though I had to use a puller to pull them off. Once installed, they were pretty rough to turn over, which is fine because I expect the grease to have to melt and turn into oil to lubricate the balls themselves. Once installed, the motor was kind of hard starting, and once it was going it was extremely loud. Much more loud than the old bearings that were in there. I would not recommend these for use in a motor of any type, unless noise is not a factor.

Greater than one weekI read a lot of reviews stating they dont spin very well. This is 100% true. When you get them, they are gummy. A spray of WD40 and working them a bit will have them spinning nicely in no time. I dont use them for whatever they were manufactured for, so I cant say if they are good for whatever that is, but for hobby projects or 3D printed stuff, they work swimmingly.

> 3 dayKind of trash and hardly worked. Almost all failed with a roll pin installed.

> 3 dayThe dimensions are WAY off. Pressing these in was more like dropping a toothpick into a volcano. Luckily i dont need a press fit for my application, so it didnt matter. You really get what you pay for here. Also the race was PACKED with FOD. So much aluminum or steel glitter is packed in with the bearings, it feels like sand when you move the bearing around. Only two out of the pack where smooth. This is real bottom of the barrel stuff, but its also literally the cheapest i could find. Im pretty sure the oil that was covering them was some kind of caustic nonsense and it made my skin red where it touched me.

Greater than one weekEverything is great as far as value for the money and thickness. One thing that could improve is the movement. Doesn’t spin as easy as I thought it would. But I’m also not a pro when it comes to bearings.
