Currently using one as part of a 3D printed stabilizer for my Z-axis on my Ender 3. Its the perfect fit allows rotation and little wobble. Printing has been going a bit faster and cleaner.

packed with sticky grease to make the bearings appear more precise. Once you remove the greese with a good degreaser (major effort) and replace it with a light oil you notice a lot of play in the bearings dimensionally. If your just looking for a cheap bearing that spins fast then these will do. If your using these for any projects that require some accuracy on center of bearing look elsewhere.

I used these for demo motors to show kids how things work. The first thing I did was pull the grease covers (shields) off and wash the bearing with acetone to clean them. Be aware that the set that I purchased did not come packed with grease, which for me was great - less cleaning. I want the kids to see how the bear works. The great thing is that still today after thousands of rotations and hours of running time, none have failed.

These are a great value and very easy spin. Perfect for a new roller for my 3d printer filament

Some bearings roll smoother than others. Most of them are pretty stiff but you can oil them for some decrease in friction. The plus is the diametric tolerances are pretty good according to my calipers. OD 22 +.04 -.04, ID 8 +.03 -.05 which is great and they work great for my low speed purposes

I was worried at first because the didnt want to spin, but once I put them on my board, they (for lack of a better word) loosened, it was smooth cruising. Great product..

I purchased these to use in 3D printed components. Many reviewers commented on how they dont spin freely and some feel gritty. Bearings are made to bear a load and allow it to spin smoothly, and for this they work fine. I am using them for 3D printed projects and havent been disappointed yet. For skating I would recommend spending more and buying a set of quality skate bearings - I have a set of quality skate bearings Ive been rolling on since 2012 (~8 years now). Youll feel the low quality with every roll, I wouldnt count on these to either last as long or be anywhere near as quick and smooth as name-brand skate bearings, but theyre significantly cheaper and almost disposable while still offering a relatively frictionless roll compared to plastic-on-plastic that keeps my designs from wearing out prematurely.

Im using these for 3D printing in the creation of Filament Spool holders. These are perfect with just the right amount of friction so that they roll nicely. I did not clean the bearings but used as is.

I did not use these in a skating application. I can not speak to their durability in that application. There were used in a spooler that required a set of 608 bearings that could simply roll smoothly at low speeds. All dimensions were within stated specs for 608 bearings. They come pre-greased in tubes of 10. No complaints and would order more for additional projects.

The ball bearings did do what they were supposed to, but didn’t do it well. The bearings were heavily greased to the point of no free spin. With a nice isopropyl bath they end up working for what I needed them for.
