These are decent replicas. I especially like the way the chrysalis is hanging on a twig which is not the case with some other models. It is also good the way the leaf is half eaten and shows eggs plus baby caterpillars.

It’s about the cutest thing in the world to see a 3 yo naming parts of a butterfly or butterfly life cycle using correct scientific names.

I bought this for my pre-k and 1st grader and within 24 hours the chrysalis had become separated from the tree branch. I had really hoped it would held up longer than that.
