I made a mistake to try one of these personal alarms in the kitchen when my wife was cooking next to me and my son was playing at the table. It alram was so loud it startled all of us and our ears were ringing for 15 minutes after that. It is insanely loud - dont try it at home - bring it outside instead. It connected it to our keychains and all the family are carrying these with them at all times now. Very convenient. The reminder of the alarms I am planning to include as a small presents for holidays to our family members and friends.

This item is very much worth the cost. It will definitely do what is expected of it. Its very loud. I make defense keychain and very light weight.
