I decided to rekindle my love of drawing and inking after many years, and these pens are still just as amazing as they were over a decade ago. I think there is quite a variety of pens in this set and each of them glides very smoothly. My only complaint is that the brush and marker pens seemed to run dry rather fast. I would like to note though that I was not using marker or ink specific paper at that time. Regardless, the other pens have stayed strong after many uses (and on many different types of paper). Good luck to you all on your art adventures!

Pens are decent quality but some dried out a bit too soon. Larger pens in set still working. Ok for price

Bought these for my 12 year old daughter. She loves them. She uses them every time she draws, which is often. We no longer use the thin sharpie, they dont hold up that well.

I like these pens, but two of them (08 and sharpy-like one) ran out of ink with almost no usage.

This are by far the best quality ink pens I have owned so far. The ink doesnt bleed, the tips are very assorted and they are very easy to hold and draw with. For beginners is not as easy to manipulate but still they are great for starters

I have tried many inking tools over the years, the Hunt 102 Crowquill, a Series 7 #2 watercolor brush, but Micron fineliners have become my go-to pens. My other tools of the trade are my Pentel Fude brush pens. I started my artist career as many others have, using a number 2 pencil and a ballpoint pen. The Micron .01 and .005 give me the fine lines I need for the fine details in my work. The Micron .005 and .003 also work well for cross-hatching. For anyone getting started, I would recommend a Staedtler 2mm lead holder with the HB and 4H lead for penciling. I would recommend using this pack of Microns and the Pentel Fude Extra Fine point for inking. It should be noted that Microns delicate tip can break under too much pressure, and like with all inking tools, they work best with Bristol board smooth tooth paper.

I am an artist who draws animals and I absolutely love these pens. The quality is great and they do not bleed.

Really great quality pens, I like that it has different tips and it doesn’t bleed on the write type of paper. I highly recommend it, because I know you’ll like them too.

Pros: the pen tips are suuper tiny and so great for detail work! I actually really love the brush pen too its really fun to play around with and has a nice smooth calligraphy type look to it. Just be careful opening/closing it or the brush part will sort of fray. The ink holds up beautifully with watercolor brushed over it, no smeared or smudged lines at all. Cons: the ink will fade if you erase over it. I inked over a pencil drawing and when I went back to erase the extra pencil marks the ink got significantly lighter in those areas.

Smear proof and permanent . The metal sleeve on the tip makes it better than other markers when using a ruler to guide lines, no smearing when creating ruler-guided lines. I wish I knew that when using a ruler to outline my last bullet journal calendar.
