Pens are decent quality but some dried out a bit too soon. Larger pens in set still working. Ok for price

These pens seem to work really well. Paper texture is important, too, so for watercolors, you might try hot pressed watercolor paper if you want smooth lines. I havent tested all of these to see if they are all non water soluble, but the 05 size one seems to be (I brushed water right over it with a paint brush after it dried. No smearing. The brushpen may be less non water soluble, or it may not have been all the way dry when I tested it, but still didnt look bad once the water I brushed over it dried (so maybe my brush wasnt 100 percent clean after testing another brands brush pen). In case you want a comparison of widths, I uploaded a test sheet on regular printer paper (contains tests from both this set and a Faber-Castell set here on Amazon.) Hope that helps!

I do a lot of minor details in my hobby, and these pens are great. Love the different sizes in the set, and the brush is a welcome addition!

I got these pens in the mail took them out and decided to try them out. I started with the .005 and the nib bent in half instantly rendering it useless. So it went in the trash. I guess i pushed too hard? Ive never used this type of ink, i usually draw with bic pens. So word of advice, dont press down. I dont recommend these pens with someone with a heavy hand.

I got the package, and immediately opened it. Of course, I tested all of them, and they all perform fantastically. All except the Graphic 1 pen. It lasted a few minutes, and then was completely dry. Its currently resting upside down, hoping to bring some life back into it, but I have little hope.

I LOVE these pens! Im not an artist but I love writing and Im picky about the pens that I use. These pens just lovely. They write so smooth and the lines are clean. I also like that there are different size nibs on each pen. Ive tried them with different types of paper and it doesnt matter which paper I use, these pens still work great! - As a wife and as a mom of 3 kids, I spend a lot of time shopping for deals on the best products out there for my family. Its important to me that if were spending our hard earned money that we get a top notch product in return. I often rely on the reviews and opinions of others when contemplating purchasing a new product that I havent tried before myself. Because of that, any products that I buy (whether on Amazon or from a 3rd party) I always make sure to leave a detailed review of the product to help others when selecting items to purchase, as well. My family tests these products fully before forming a solid opinion and writing a review. When I write a review, I keep in mind that those reading are also looking for honesty about the product and want an unbiased opinion to go by. If my review has been helpful to you, please give me a Yes vote on my review. Thank you!

Wonderful product besides drying out quickly! The lines are smooth and dark which is perfect for outlining your sketch. I enjoy the size variation as it can help wit tedious details on a piece.

I use these with watercolors, alcohol markers and just sketching alone. Beautif crisp lines and never bleed. Love these.
