    By far the easiest major PC upgrade Ive ever done. I replaced a 6-year old HDD with this, and from start to finish (including cloning time) it only too two hours. No problems whatsoever. I should have switched to SSD long ago. The difference is astounding.

    Painless installation. Plugged in to a usb adapter, cloned the old HDD, swapped drives and booted up without problems. Old laptop is lightning fast now. Installed Samsung Magician for good measure but the firmware is already up to date.

    I was having a lot of problems with my Xbox One S, so many that I thought it had finally bit the dust when it quit powering on recently. I eventually bought a new Series X and decided it couldnt hurt to try and fix the One S and started by replacing the hard disk drive. I chose this Samsung SSD in 500gb, watched a couple of youtube videos, and after spending around an hour working on it Im happy to report that this Xbox One S is running better and so much faster than new!! Its amazing how much of a difference this SSD made. Now that Ive been through the process and know that it works, my only regret is not buying 1tb or bigger.

    The hard drive would not accept the OS on my Mac. Even went to Apple to attempt an install to be able to use, but it kept failing.

    I have owned many Samsung SSDs over the past but this 2 TB. one has developed quite a few bad sectors in less than a year of moderate use, causing hours of lost time scanning and reinstalling. I would advise you to do a full CHKDSK /R scan on it before putting your data at risk.
