> 3 dayAfter upgrading from HDD many years too late this SDD keeps all my games they load up 5x times as quick 100% should spend extra money on SSDs you wont regret it just keeps everything running smoothly.

> 3 dayAfter cloning my old HHD to the Samsung SSD 1TB and installing, we were very impressed with the speed of my old laptop.

12-06-2025When loading the QVO SSD, it runs fine until it gets through write cache, then the write speed slows to roughly 88 MB/S. Read speed is fine, In the past, I have always used EVO drives with much more consistent write speeds. I would return the two QVO drives I just purchased if I could. IMHO, pay the little cost extra for EVO drives for consistent performance.

> 3 dayBe sure to understand before buying these are slow QLC drives. You may be like me and assume that all SSD drives are pretty fast, but that is not the case. These drives are SLOWER than old spinning hard drives in many cases! Brand new drive with 1.3 TB written and their own benchmark shows write speeds of only 59 MB/s. In practice copying files starts quickly but after only literally 10 seconds falls to around 5 MB/s because these drives have a small fast cache that only lasts for a few seconds and then youre speeds are unusably slow. They cut so many corners on this drive and made such a poor product I will probably never buy a Samsung drive again. Its borderline a scam to advertise this drive like they do.

> 3 dayI initially had some problems making disk to be recognized by system. I finally found a low level test in my HP 15 Envy (pressing F2 just at the boot moment) and the USB3.0-SATA cable that worked with other SSDs failed on USB test ( even with other detected drives ). I found another USB-SATA cable and it worked fined. After that, I cloned my initial 1TB HDD in about 7 hours and made the replacement of drives ( about half and hour ). My laptop boots faster and handles all tasks with a notorious performance improvement. It has been a good choice and Im happy with my 2TB SSD.

Greater than one weekReally nice speed increase for downloading to the drive, and playing installed games off of.
