The product arrived promptly, and the cardboard box had the seal unbroken. It is very light, it is hard to believe that such a tiny, light package contains so much hard drive space. I bought this drive to replace the 1TB SATA HDD (the data drive) in my HP 17-by4061cl laptop.

So far have been using this for my PS4 pro. I gotta say I do see a huge improvement in loading times. Especially games like the division 2 which is not optimized well for online multiplayer with the SSD it does indeed load quickly. Other games I do see a noticeable faster loading times. So far still running good and I leave my ps4 pro on most of the day when Im home.

Works great and the quality is obvious. Lot of and lots of storage with the 4TB. A bit on the pricey side, but then, one usually has to pay for quality--and you often get what you pay for ... and I believe I did in this case!

Great for gaming. My kid says it works great on his computer.

I had an old Inspiron 17 5000 series computer that was taking over 8 minutes to fully boot up. Tried everything youtube had to offer to make my computer boot up faster. Task Manager kept showing 100% disk usage. So I swapped the HDD with this Samsung Solid State drive and my gosh. Its like I put a turbo charger in my computer. My system boots up in under a minute now. I recommend swapping out old disk drives and also follow yourube videos(deleting bloatware, stopping startup programs, etc...)

Ive been doing computers for three decades and this has been the single worst drive I have ever used. I bought it for some external storage for the Xbox, but the system kept losing track of the drive and its contents. Trying several different enclosures on two different machines (Series X and S) made no difference. Then I tried using it for some movie storage, but the file transfer rate was abismal. I read somewhere this specific drive chokes on the transfer of large files. So I began using it for some MP3 storage. The transfer rate was better, but then the contents got locked in a GPT Protective Partition. Seriously. Are you kidding me? Whilst I am well out of the return window, I still FEEL a full refund is due for all this drive has done for me. I dont even know anyone I dislike enough that I might give to.

This Samsung 2TB SSD drive is a middle ground for PC storage. I have one to conserve space on my 1TB SSD M.2 Drive that is used for the boot drive. It’s pretty much easy to install out of the box if you are familiar with sata cables. Make sure to buy a cable to connect it to the motherboard because this one does not come with it. Only bad thing I have to say is that I wish it came with a cable. I realize the cables for power and data transfer are usually inexpensive but knowing the price point of this drive felt it deserves a cable in the box.
