Greater than one weekI bought it during the special sale despite having the EVO 860 1TB already serving in my PC for one year. The new QVO arrived sooner than promised, safe and sound. Then I converted the old Evo 860 to my back up storage and used the new one as the main hard drive. The online reviews indicate that the 870 QVO are slower than Evo 860S but since I am not using it for intensive applications like games, I did not notice the difference. In fact the 870 QVO boots-up in 18 seconds while the EVO 860 was booting up in 25 seconds. However I am not recommending that the QVO is faster than EVO because I have no expertise nor the equipment to be able to discern the speed difference. I am only explaining my experience. The verdict: I love it

> 3 dayI had an old Inspiron 17 5000 series computer that was taking over 8 minutes to fully boot up. Tried everything youtube had to offer to make my computer boot up faster. Task Manager kept showing 100% disk usage. So I swapped the HDD with this Samsung Solid State drive and my gosh. Its like I put a turbo charger in my computer. My system boots up in under a minute now. I recommend swapping out old disk drives and also follow yourube videos(deleting bloatware, stopping startup programs, etc...)

> 3 daySo that means NO drive performance testing or optimization. Nice that the companies own software doesnt support their own drives.

> 3 dayThis is a fast drive. Careful, other similar SATA 3 drives say 6 GB speed, vs 560 MB/s on this, but its just a mistake. (this is meant for non IT savvy people). SATA III is rated 6 gigabit per second (Gbps). 1 gigabit per second is about 125 megabytes per second (MB/s). 1 byte is 8 bits. Gb/s are usually used for transfer speeds, bytes are used more for storage speed, (there are valid reasons behind this, if you really want to know just google it ...)

> 3 daySwapped this drive into my Dell. The Dells hard drive was always maxed out in the Performance Monitor, showing 100% usage (not storage, but read/write utilization) no matter what. 10-minute boot time, 2 minutes to launch Chrome or Edge... Cloned the old drive to this and installed. Twelve (12) second initial boot time, every action now takes milliseconds. The Performance Monitor now shows average 15% usage.
