> 3 dayNew PC build or just need an upgrade for some speed and performance? WOW all I can say, I did place within a new gaming rig and all around great score. Read and write what it states, PC boots under 5 secs, files transfers are very fasts and gaming you can forget about it. This M.2 is a must have especially if you are thinking of going SSD ..dont think about it and make this your first and final stop the plus when it comes to drive space and main boot drive or OS.

> 3 dayIts a pretty quick drive. Boots up in just a few seconds. Had to wipe it once because of a mobo issue, but so far it isnt too bad.

> 3 dayI installed this as an upgrade on my wifes Macbook Pro 15 Retina (Late 2013) using the Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter Card ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CWWAENG/ ) and it works flawlessly. I had read reports about issues with various non-Apple SSDs in this era of Macbooks but I can assert ours sleeps/hibernates as same as it did before, I made zero changes to OS settings. For data migration, I opted to make a USB boot disk and do a fresh OS install and then do data migration from TimeMachine backup. This process was very smooth but did take a few hours to copy everything over from the external USB drives (we use 2x drives for Time Machine for redundancy). I ran AmorphosDiskMark 4.0 before removing the old disk and after install and data-migration on the new disk. We are running BigSur 11.7.3 with Case-Sensitive APFS. The reported speed are more than 100% faster. See attached photo. I could not be happier.

> 3 dayAs all drives should be, this was basically a plug and play scenario. For anyone having difficulty with installing their M.2, just remember that some motherboards share the same channel of their M.2 and their sata drives. You cant have 2 drives occupying the same channel. (this is a motherboard problem and nothing to do with the drive itself).
