    Just built a new PC and my old NVME is a 950 Pro which I still use, 2500MBs/1400MBs or something like that and it actually exceeds those speeds. This drive was a hair under, within the margin of error. I have my POST time set to 2 seconds. With my other drive I would be in windows in about 6-7 seconds from turning on the power, but now Im in windows before my monitor even powers up, Id say 4 seconds. Crazy...

    I went from running out of memory and having to load some of my games off of a hard disk drive to having plenty of memory and being able to load all of my games off of an SSD; leading to vastly improved load times that are usually incredibly quick. I never see textures still loading in after getting into a game anymore. In other words I got exactly what I wanted.

    For anyone considering this for a PS5, Id highly recommend buying it with a heat sink. Sure, it is more expensive but in the long run with the PS5, it is better to go with the heatsink because, as far as I know of, the bay where you put it in, does not have airflow so temps are a concern.

    it works with my h570 asrock motherboard 4 gaming seem to be just a little bit faster than my external wd black 5 tb

    Ive been using a 250 GB 970 EVO for a few years now as my Windows disk and to house some smaller games. Performance had been magnificent so when I decided to replace an aging HDD for my large games I decided to stick with Samsung and went with this 980 PRO.
