Didnt know exactly what this M key thing meant to my life so had originally purchased an EVO 760 SATA M.2 for an MSI B450 Tomahawk Max II. Performance with that part wasnt much better than a standard 2.5 SATA SSD. Went from 510 MB/s to over 3200!!! I use this strictly for MSFS 2020 and FH5 and load times are unbelievably fast now. Contemplated pricier Gen 4 unit until I found it offers no discernable difference on a Gen 3 mobo. The price to performance on this NVMe proved to be among the best out there for 500 GB. Now Im spoiled and longing for a B550 / X570 Gen 4 PCIe motherboard upgrade.

Best M.2 SSD money can buy

I use the 980 in an external drive usb-c adapter, so the speed of a 980 Pro would not be utilized. Saved myself ~$80. Installed Fedora Linux on it and the install was quick and it boots fast. Havent benchmarked it; I dont feel the need, but it contributes to a snappy feel to loading apps and booting up. Good value.

Después de verificar la compatibilidad con mi laptop, fue muy simple el cambio de unidad pues después de quitar la tapa solo se coloca en el mismo lugar de la unidad que se quita y contiene las utilerías para instalarlo. Por las dudas, siempre has un respaldo previo de tu información
