    So happy I got this. My computer was dying and after some research I got this. I took it to a computer repair place to install it and my computer works like new now.

    The hardest part about installing this SSD was finding a good YouTube video on how to re install windows. Arrived ahead of schedule too!!

    The recommended installation software, Samsung Magician, does not recognize the new Samsung SSD, so unable to clone old hard drive to new SSD. I read in other reviews that this problem has been going on since at least June of 2021 and Samsung still has no answers. I think this is a much bigger issue than the missing mounting screw.

    Lightning cant keep up with this. I bought it for a gaming rig and it runs a little over 3k on the speeds. Nice for gaming with plenty of storage. I do recommend.

    I have 2 Samsung 980 EVO NVME(s) in my system. the 500Gb on the mother board slot and a 1Tb one in a Sabrent adapter in a PCI X4 slot. Both run at advertised speeds and work great! The 500Gb is my boot drive running Windows 10. The 1Tb is where I put all my data. Mainly video files, pictures, books, and so on. I also have a Samsung 860 internal SSD plugged into SATA. That is a hot backup drive for all my critical docs, emails, and such. No spinning disks inside the system. Runs really fast, quiet, and has made any video processing work I do considerly faster. Great products from Samsung. Very pleased with them.
