Easy to install, and worked exactly as I figured it would do.

It was much less expensive to add RAM than to buy a new laptop with 12gb. I usually use Kingston but this Samsung exactly met the mfg description and was at a good price point. I installed it in 2 seconds (after the case was off!). Rebooted and the 8gb was recognised by the system with ease. Unit is running all types of programs now better and faster than ever. I recommend this chip for a HP 15-db00031nr laptop.

Purchased this ram for my wife’s all in one computer. She normally has multiple windows open for work and she would constantly complain how slow it was. I researched reasons why computers run slow and insufficient ram was the number one cause. I checked the ram on the computer and it was at 100% capacity. By purchasing this additional ram doubled the capacity and was very easy to install. Immediate performance improvement! I definitely recommend this ram because of price, exact fit and ease of installation. Btw, I know nothing about computer repair so I took a picture of the original ram to make sure I ordered the right one with the right speed and capacity.

Was not as easy to install as some other laptops. Was necessary to find hidden screws to remove bottom of laptop.

Got two of these to go from 8 to 16GB in my little Acer Aspire 5. They snaped right in after removing the two 4s. So simple and smooth I just went ahead and put all 10 screws back into the back and fired her up. They work perfectly. A quick tip - to check the total ram in win 10 after you start up just press the windows key and the pause key at the same time. A little window will pop up and let you see how much ram you now have. It should match what you put in or uh, oh. Mine did.
