Product came completely dead on arrival. Would never buy, spent 3 hours trying to fix and learned that it couldnt be fixed.

This is the best you can get in type for now 1TB is a little pricey , 512 is the best buy for now. I USE 5G now and have Autocad on my phone. If you need more I would put separate projects on flash drives.

I never expected this from Amazon, but first of all the package felt a bit weird - there is no usual anti-counterfeit measures on the packaging cardboard - just plain print (its my first Samsung SD card, so Im not sure if its usual). Then I loaded it onto my Surface Pro. The capacity looks alright (doesnt need formating). Then I enabled bitlocker and started copying files onto the drive. The writing speed was poor - it was mostly around 10 MB/sec (not even close to the 90 MB/sec claimed on the package). Then after an hour or two, 50~100 GB into the progress, the speed dropped to near zero (in KB/sec range), and the computer seemed to slow down dramatically (probably waiting for the drive to respond). I tried to close down the file manager and reboot the computer. When it comes back, I can no longer access the drive... Always prompted me to type in password for the bitlocker but then frozen/dead. I tried to re-format it regardless of the encryption, but I/O error came up and prevented the re-formatting. Tried other software, too, but with no success... It was just a nightmare after wasting a whole day on this crap. Sure this is from a third-party seller (with Amazon Prime), but I picked it based on the previous good reviews. Now I dont understand if this is a fake card or just my bad luck... Will never touch this seller or Samsung SD card again. I always had good luck with SanDisk but hope they will sell larger capacity soon (the maximum is 400 GB with SanDisk at this moment).

Very good for the price. Given the amount of GB loaded into this tiny SD card, may not be exactly 512GB, but still almost 500

More storage, which made my phone work faster. Not worried about running out of memory space on my phone. Wish I had done this earlier.

The Micro SD card I got could only hold 50 GB of data instead of 512 GB that I had ordered. I had to return it and buy another card from Samsung which is working well. Below is the name & the link for the other card that works. Hope this helps.
