Vale muchísimo la pena, soy fotógrafo y para revelar tus fotos en Lightroom, o videos en Final Cut, es un alivio, corre rápido y lo puedes llevar a donde sea. Se calentó muchísimo la primera vez que lo conecté, pero de ahí en adelante para edición de fotos, no se calienta nada.

Drive died randomly. If I didnt have a backup I would have lost everything.

These are nice and compact. It has a metal enclosure which may act as a heat sink. Ive read reviews where some people say that these can get hot but I have not experienced it yet. I have about 5 of these on different computers in the office as a backup. They transfer data pretty fast even on an old usb 2. Ive only had these for a couple of weeks but they seem to be working well. These are great because there is no moving parts to fail.

So it reads/writes at some 1,000 Mb/sec while Apple iMac hard drive 5400 rpm pokes along at 20-40 mB/sec. Boots up now it has replaced apple OEM at blazing speed through a Thunderbolt port. Used a rubber band to attach to bottom of iMac metal frame support to help dissipate the tolerable heat. Quick start up time, quick apps. So new new Mac for a few years nor :) Well worth the $ to jump ahead of the Samsung T5 at 540 Mb read/write speed. 3 year warranty.

This little drive is so compact, powerful, and light weight. I had been jamming up my hard drive and my Mac Book Pro was running so slowly. I took off all my videos, photos and large document files and put them on the Samsung T7. Now I can use the full computing power of my laptop and feel confident that I have all of my files easily accessible, and backed up.

This has been a great little portable drive for me. I did not experience any of the issues described by others.

Es un disco con buena capacidad y muy portátil, aquí tengo todos mis catálogos de Lr que trabajo en el estudio, la velocidad de lectura y escritura es muy superior a un HDD, tenia mis dudas de compatibilidad con Mac pero sin problema reconoció el disco.
