Greater than one weekNice and compact size! Was able to read and pull up my files immediately as compared to the Seagatr and some Western Digital external drives! Havent had to deal with tech support so I cant rate that.

> 3 dayI bought this product and after a few months started to get recurring bad sectors. I contacted Samsung and they issued and RMA number and forwarded to Amazon. Amazon is supposed to handle the return but has done nothing. It has been 3 weeks since the b2b RMA was approved and issued by Samsung. Dont buy this

> 3 dayWith my new Model 3, this SSD is perfect to use for the Dash Cam recordings. You will never need to worry about storage once you purchase this. The read/write speeds are exactly what you will want.

> 3 dayThe software application you can (but dont have to) use with this is relatively useless, save perhaps for update notifications. Otherwise, performs very well, with surprisingly fast transfer rates from my laptop (it being 7 years old now, so understandably not known for high speed). To make constant plug-in possible, Ive attached easily-removable hooks to the exterior of my laptop and hang the hard drive and its cord from them. This keeps the USB end from disconnecting if the hard drive falls (cord is pretty short). What it did not do was clear enough room on my laptop to upgrade to macOS Big Sur, which was the goal - but that is the laptops fault, not the hard drives (the current OS on my laptop simply wont free up enough memory to make the upgrade possible). I dont regret the purchase, though, as it will buy me some time before I have to update to a new laptop, and considering that cost, this is an inexpensive and vital interim aid, as it has made it possible to completely backup my current machine with the free software (Time Machine) that came with my Mac - something I couldnt do until I had room to make that happen. That peace of mind alone was worth the affordable investment.

> 3 dayEasily compares and even beats the official external SSDs for the X-Box XSeries, in price and speed. A good value.
