I ordered a Samsung T5SSD. I received a Samsung T7SSD. After not getting a response from support to exchange the Samsung T7 for the T5. I decided to mount the memory card to my camera to see if it would work despite forums saying that the Samsung T7 does not work for black magic pocket cameras. I would like to share that the Samsung T7 1 TB WORKS PERFECTLY on my blackmagic design 6K G2 in full resolution on any setting/frame rate. Making the T7 an affordable resolution for Blackmagic Design storage.

I edited a FCPX video straight from this drive for the first time today and it was a real joy. No lag or rendering issues. This is a fast drive and was by far one of the best editing experiences Ive had in a long time. The drive did not get very hot either. Im using a 2019 MacBook Pro 16.

3 days after return window closed it stopped reading and writing properly.

I used this to backup my old PC that is not going to last much longer, It works quick and has security features which I didnt know about like being able to lock it with a password which is a plus. I have used it to transfer data to a new PC and it works very quickly. It doesnt heat up at all and is quite compact. Great little portable SSD.
