Use this compact little 1T SSD to back up date on your computer or transfer files from one computer to another. SSD is far superior to HDD in both accuracy and longevity. This was a great purchase.

it is very fast but after using it for 20-25 minutes, it becomes too hot. T5 is much better than this.

Ive had many external HDDs and now SSDs, using one at a time and replacing religiously every 2-3 years even if Im not having problems with it. WD hhds would generally go the full 3 years with no problem and then I got a Samsung T5 and loved it. At about 2.5 years it was still working superbly but I knew it needed to be replaced - my work files are too important to risk.

After returning another brand that was sold as a SSD I bought this one. The off brand that was much less expensive was so slow that it was unusable. I am using this Samsung on my Macs for Final Cut Pro X. It runs as fast as my internal drives. Would recommend this product.
