The speed is critical for me when backing up data in the field. These drives have cut down my transfer times massively. Will be adding more to the kit.

The unit would tell me it was full when i reconnected and caused my pc to freeze? I ordered a new one and hope it was a lemon and not bad production? We will see waiting for new unit in mail?

Absolutely fantastic drive, Crystal Disk Mark shows solid 1 GB/s speeds over USB-C on my PC (Needs a 3.2 Gen port to get full speeds, and a fast enough internal drive to really take advantage of it, like an NVMe drive). Smaller and lighter than I thought it would be, but with a REALLY nice metal shell. Cables that come with it deliver full speed but are a touch flimsy for long term use I think.

I buy this ssd 500gb one everything is great. Only one disappointment is storage capacity. This one have 465gb available space Only. Need little more space according to me.
