The developer ID Application certificate is expired and expired on 9/27/2019. The box that it came in states the production date is 2020 0413. My computer warned me that the package was signed with a certificate that is expired and if I acquired the package recently, it may not be authentic. I do not trust this product. Im returning the item.

This device is so helpful to me because I have so much on my computer and need to store the things that I do not need access to right away. When I need it, it will be there. It also allows me to clean up my documents on my computer so all the things that I have are more organized and stored where I need them.

Bought it for my PS5 to use as external storage and it works perfectly and super fast

Does’t work with Mac

I am unable to use the product.

Love the size and capacity of this product, above and beyond my expectations.

From reading the other reviews I thought I was going to have to erase and reformat for Mac but then I used the Samsung utility software that came with the T5 and it works perfectly.. at least in my case it did. The unit is pretty small and is light as a feather. I’m starting to realize that a terrabyte is a huge amount of space. I would buy this again but in 500gb.

Very small, very sturdy, been using for years.

I bought this in March and it worked wonderfully for about 2 months. Then one day last May when I logged in, there was a pop up message saying that I needed to set up my external drive. The entire drive is completed erased and reset to manufacturer default. Sam sung tech supported confirmed that it is a manufacturer defect and agreed to replace the product if I complete their warranty form. Besides the product, I was advised to reach out to the data recovery specialist to hopefully restore 26 years of pictures. So frustrated for the hassle I have to go through just for this manufacturer defect, not knowing if it is even possible to recover those pictures. On the bright side though, the tech was professional and courteous.
