SAMSUNG T5 Portable SSD 1TB - Up to 540MB/s - USB 3.1 External Solid State Drive, Black (MU-PA1T0B/AM)

At 100 dollars per TB of storage space, the price is not bad for a current External SSD Drive. Samsung is known for making higher quality SSD drives in general, and I was actually amazed at how small (physically) this drive actually was. Capable of using a USB 3.1 port, it communicates quickly. Obviously a USB 3.2 SSD Drive would communicate even faster, but for an extra 50 bucks per TB, just for double the possible throughput across a more modern cable and computer port still seems a bit steep. One step down to 3.1 still feels quite a bit faster then a physical hard drive based external drive.

I searched High and Low for a SSD that would work with the Sony PS5. I contacted Sony and they told me that this is the drive they recommend. Sadly it did not work. The PS5 would not format the drive, it would not even recognize it. Thanks for Lying to me Sony.
