> 3 dayusb 3.1 gen 2 interface does not work right. When I copy a bunch of files thru usb 3.1 gen 2 at 10gbps and then chkdsk the drive is come up with a ton of errors. Works fine with usb3.0 5Gbps. Did this several time and the result is the same.

> 3 dayIt was so small it came out of backpack and was lost rather quickly. Bought as a gift and could not get encryption to work with really new Mac either. Just my 2 cents....

> 3 dayDrive is fast, yes, and youll fill it up quick. I like having a password protect option. Keep losing it on my desk because it is so small. Another user noted the fragile USB-C connection coming loose, and I observed that but possibly a new cable would fix. An annoyance is that after mounting, an error message appears that the drive had been improperly unmounted *previously*. I take pains to quit the Samsung application and unmount the same way I always unmount drives on a Mac. Hopefully the error message is just a meaningless glitch; havent seen any major malfunctions yet.

> 3 dayRequires a special driver to work with MacOS. Why? Other SSDs dont need it. Cant use native OSX encryption with it either. Not recommended for Mac users. Aside from that, fast and small.

> 3 dayNo sure why a lot of Mac users arent recommending this product. I have three of these (T3, and two T5s). I dont use the software on the SSDs. I always reformat the drive before I first use it. Its fast - transferred 162 GB of footage in 6 minutes onto the drive. Love these.

> 3 dayI just wanted an external SSD that could read/write fast enough to use for short term, then store the projects later on a cloud/backup drive. This works great for that! I also love the fact that I can change machines seemlessly. All I really need is a computer that has a good graphics card and now it doesnt necessarily need to have an SSD.
