I use this to record 4k video from my Black Magic Camera. It is perfect and has a great write speed.

Is there nothing that Samsung does not do well? Every thing I could ask it arrived on time and worked with out even reading instructions right out of the box.

I have had this harddrive for about half the year and so far it is wonderful! I had two others crash on me that I bought at Wallmart and both were about $80 and larger physically than this one. Those failures showed me how important it was to backup in multiple locations and also splurge on good reliable technology. This product is worth the price and its small size is another benefit. Transfer times are fast and although it wont last forever, I feel it will hold up MUCH better than the others.

I didnt try to use it for over a year to find this out. I hope I find a hack to reset it.

Great! Does no lag, super fast. Device stays cool and only warms up when used at high intensity. Previously tried WD SSD which had a slight lag and it was always very warm even when not in use and got very hot when use. This one is far better for the same price.

Very good size. Seemingly well made. Easy to encrypt. Have used to backup entire computer with no problems. Data transfer is fast.
