I bought this for my BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K on July 19. I would love to return it for a replacement, but the return window closed before I received it on July 21. Hows that for Amazon service? It just quit working (how does that happen? Its an SSD!), and all that shows up on my computer is the boot partition, so now I have a $130 ssd with 44MB (Megabytes!) of memory. Im not very happy right now.

No sure why a lot of Mac users arent recommending this product. I have three of these (T3, and two T5s). I dont use the software on the SSDs. I always reformat the drive before I first use it. Its fast - transferred 162 GB of footage in 6 minutes onto the drive. Love these.

I use this portable drive for my new backup drive after a backup hard drive eventually failed. Speed of backup is what I notice most. And for security, I simply detach and store in family safe when away. I partitioned into 2 drives, one for Time Machine and one for general backup of important files.

Ordered the 1TB version and it only came with 31 GB of space. After much work (reformatting, secure wiping, downloading Samsung Magician) contacted Samsung with the serial number and they confirmed this was NOT a Samsung product.

Love the T5. Trusted brand in Samsung. The transfer speed is great especially with the USB-C port.

Works great in my Model Y. Just wish it loaded footage a bit faster but that could be the cars fault.
