> 24 hourIm currently refinishing my oak kitchen cabinets which requires A-LOT of sanding. Ive got about 4 or 5 different sanding blocks and they all serve their own purposes and I use them all. IE, one is squishy & round for 5 sanding discs in case I want to do hand sanding versus using my orbital sander, one is hard with a round edge and a sharp edge for edge/crevasse sanding. This block is my new primary/go-to sanding block. Its has a nice weight, easy to load sandpaper and fits great in your hand!. Fits 9 x 2 2/3 sanding sheet perfectly.

> 24 hourThe block is well made and the clips for holding sandpaper are easier to use than other types of clips and apparently are tight enough to hold sandpaper. The major problem is that the flat sanding surface of the block is only 2 5/8 by 7 3/4. The 1/3rd sandpaper sheets are 3 5/8 by 9. The block is too narrow for the sandpaper and a total of 1 1/4for both ends of the sandpaper to attach the paper to the block is a very tight fit. Perhaps those who have rated the block with 5 stars dont mind the 1/2 of sandpaper on each side that is useless, or they cut off 3/4 of the sandpaper before attaching to the block

> 24 hourI was not expecting this to fail so quick. I Used this item two times over the last year and on the third used something odd happened. One of the clasps failed and at first I was confused, but on inspection it was obvious that when I rotated the lever to tighten the clamp on the sandpaper it did nothing. Something internal like a cam failed and the unit will not grab the paper at all. sad to see a product fail so quick. I I have to remove the rubber base to pen the unit and fix it, it is useless as you can not fix the unit and re adhere the base. I will avoid a products that prevents me from doing maintain and or repair units. Poor design. Can not recommend.

> 24 hourLove this! Easy to install the paper, fit in the hand really nicely. I will probably buy 1 or 2 more in different colors to keep different grit sandpaper on.

> 24 hourThis is my second, so I can have two grits of sandpaper loaded at once. I have discarded my other sanding blocks because these make better use of the sandpaper and have more of it in contact with the wood.
