It really feels comfortable in your hand, is easy to replace the sand paper. I bought one of the 5lbs sandpaper deals here on amazon and cut them in strips I then attach to this block. Its easy to smooth things up real quick after making cuts and works well around edges and corners. Will last a lifetime and last block youll ever need.

Hands down my favorite sanding block in my collection, I use it for automotive refinishing and restoration but im sure it would be great for just about any sanding job. allows you to use complete sheets of standard size sandpapers and the flexible bottom allows you to use it on mildly curved surfaces. Love it!

After using it a bit you can see why its so popular with woodworkers and auto painters. The clips hold a sheet really well, the shape helps keep even, flat pressure needed when prepping wood for finish or when flattening the finish itself. I had been waiting awhile to try and snag one on sale but the price seems to hold pretty steady on these. Worth it though. I would love to see them released in 1/2 sheet sizes and a smaller version for detail work.

I’m a DIY woodworker and own two of these sanders. Bought a red one for my son for Christmas. Cut a normal sheet of sand paper into 4 pieces and they fit perfect on this sander. Easy to load, fells good in your hand, and is crazy durable. You can load 2 to 3 sheets on the sander and rip off as you wear them out. Best sander I”ve owned.

Block seems good for my use. Comes in different colors so you can use with different grits to easily identify. Dont buy cheap junk, you will be sorry.

I dont usually write reviews, but felt I had to on this one. Throw away those small black rubber blocks with the spikes that hold the sandpaper. This sanding block is the bomb. I bought this in the middle of a job restoring a boats gelcoat. I started with the small black rubber blocks. I used wet sandpaper. First with either 150 or 220 grit, then 400, then 500, then 800, then 1000, then 1200. I used several of the small blocks for the various grit paper because it was easier then having to change the paper between grits. With those small rubber blocks, I could never seem to get the paper tight, and the paper would always rip. About a quarter of the way through the job, I was looking to buy another of the small rubber blocks when I came across this block. I was hesitant to buy it because the price was probably 4 to 5 times the cheap blocks. Man am I so happy I bought this. The paper goes in the block so easily. There is a clamp on both sides of the block. Put the paper in one side, clamp it down, pull it tight to the other side and clamp in down. The paper sits in there nice and tight. Next, the block fits really nicely in the hand. The sanding area covers a lot more surface area. I would say, I probably cut the sanding time in at least half maybe more using this block compared to the others. The paper never ripped, and you can actually take the paper out and reuse it. You could never reuse the paper off the other blocks. I also dont need multiple blocks because the paper is so easy to change.

Great tool! Very easy to change sandpaper and sanding block is very comfortable to use. Only minor thing I can say, is that it is a bit pricey. Oh, by the way, this is the second Ive purchasd! Coarse paper on one, finer on the other.
