> 3 dayI purchased the Preppin Weapon after checking out the sanding blocks available at the big box store, which smelled awful and were poor design or required expensive proprietary sandpaper. Let me say, THANK YOU to all of you who wrote reviews to help with my decision, and for Amazon Prime fast delivery. I have started a large project, painting the interior OAK TRIM and DOORS of our 1950s home, with minimal grain markings. Even with the use of grain fillers, it will require much sanding prep. This block will save time, money, and frustration. It uses standard sheets of sandpaper, which, I can get 4 strips out of a 9x11 sheet of 3M advanced sanding sheets, which seem to last forever in the Preppin Weapon. The front and back edges of the block form a fine fold in the sandpaper and allow for excellent sanding into corners. It is comfortable in my hand, and honestly, sanding is no longer a dreaded chore. Thanks to Amazon for providing easy access to unique and innovative items. Thanks to Time Shaver for this well thought out design. This would also make an awesome gift!

> 3 dayAfter using it a bit you can see why its so popular with woodworkers and auto painters. The clips hold a sheet really well, the shape helps keep even, flat pressure needed when prepping wood for finish or when flattening the finish itself. I had been waiting awhile to try and snag one on sale but the price seems to hold pretty steady on these. Worth it though. I would love to see them released in 1/2 sheet sizes and a smaller version for detail work.

Greater than one weekIve bought four of these sanding blocks. The are just what I need. Theyll numerous sheets of wet/dry paper and this cotton buffing pads. Theyre easy to load, easy to hold and are weighted perfectly. I only wish they came in more than one size. Please keep making the Preppin Weapon.

> 3 dayThe block is well made and the clips for holding sandpaper are easier to use than other types of clips and apparently are tight enough to hold sandpaper. The major problem is that the flat sanding surface of the block is only 2 5/8 by 7 3/4. The 1/3rd sandpaper sheets are 3 5/8 by 9. The block is too narrow for the sandpaper and a total of 1 1/4for both ends of the sandpaper to attach the paper to the block is a very tight fit. Perhaps those who have rated the block with 5 stars dont mind the 1/2 of sandpaper on each side that is useless, or they cut off 3/4 of the sandpaper before attaching to the block

> 3 dayI have to admit that this is the nicest sanding block that I have ever used. It holds the paper tightly, the foam backing makes good contact with what you are sanding, and it feels great in the hand.

> 3 dayMuch better than a cork block or the 3M rubber thing. Brilliant fastening system that doesnt loosen like the nails on the 3M block. Now you can wear out the sandpaper, instead of tearing it loose from the block. A bit pricey, but Ill buy another to keep a second grit ready to use. Would recommend to you as a friend.

Greater than one weekI absolutely love this tool! I have been working on skim coating my bathroom walls and this sanding block has been very helpful. I threw away all my foam sanders. This is comfortable on the hand and flat which creates an even surface. Highly recommend this!

> 3 dayGood product like the way it clamps the paper you get to more useful sandpaper vs other styles of blocks. Also this block floats and that is handy when wety sanding. Had two old sanding blocks that became useless when the flap you have to pull back to insert the paper broke off.In short spend the money on quality if you dont buy junk in the first place you wont have to throw it away in the second place.

> 3 dayEasy to use very durable . Great for big areas. Not so for tight spots . Can get paper on pretty easy no sore fingers from other blocks with the nails that holds the sand paper.
