The speed is good, however subjective wether the copy is made from a pc, camera etc. The rating is 500MB/s however practically I was able to see 1 GB is 3-4 secs. on file copies. No fancy benchmarking, just laymans manual observations.

I fill up drives with the work I do and am about to buy this SSD for the third time. This alone speaks to my satisfaction with this SSD. Heres my bullet-point list:

Ive been using an external hard drive for quite a few years. When I got my new laptop with a solid state drive, the difference in speed was amazing. I decided if the SSD in my new laptop was that fast, I should buy an external SSD for my backup information and saving my important files. This one does everything I hoped it would, in a very fast manner. No programming required. Just a great product!

El dispositivo es para uso rudo pero en el instructivo te advierten que no toques la parte de conexión porque se daña, lo cual me parece absurdo considerando lo primero.

The disk is so light and small. feels premium quality. I have tested Copy / Past with usb type C and I could get 440 mb speed.

Somehow got a 250gb drive when i ordered a 500GB. Amazon replaced it in a week so thank you. Returned the 250GB. Great drive, doesnt drop frames on my camera.
