Greater than one weekBought this flash drive to house precious photos from both my phone and laptop creating more available space on those two items and keeping the photos in one convenient safe place. This little thing will hold 80,000 photos!!!

06-04-2025This drive failed after a few months of use as a backup storage (using Apples Time Machine). It wont mount and the computer cant find it. I have two other SanDisk Cruzer drives, 128GB, that are still working fine, but theyre not in daily use for backup. Disappointed in the failure of the drive, and had to buy another at greater cost that will hopefully not fail. Its a TOSHIBA 1 TB, sold by Amazon.

Greater than one weekThe USB connector in this model slides in and out, so when you are hooking it up to a computer you have to very forcefully hold your thumb on it, pushing it out so it will make a proper connection to the input jack. Its hard to tell when it is all the way in. Once it appears to be in and data is transferring to and from it it is fine. Being able to retract the input jack is good for protection, but the cover is only plastic.

Greater than one weekCompared with the older SanDisk models, this feels a little flimsy. No issues so far, but have to see if any issues on extended use.

Greater than one weekThis is nothing like the old Cruzer slide-out flash drives. Its much flimsier feeling in every way. Its also very slow to write to, which is aggravating if you are trying to fill up the full capacity. However, its pretty cheap for the size. If you just plan on occasionally adding files to it, or filling it up only once, then it seems acceptable. If you are planning on moving stuff around with it often, Id recommend something else. USB SSDs are getting a lot cheaper (maybe 2x the price of this), and are probably an order of magnitude faster, albeit usually a bit bulkier.

> 3 dayNever had an issue with SanDisk & same with the 256gb USB 3.1 drive. Push out style, it is plenty fast even running on 2.0, works fine in TV, phone with adapter, hubs & more. Always feel comfortable buying SanDisk have a few drives & cards 5-10+ years old still working fine.
