The picture quality on this monitor is beautiful. It has a simple and sleek design, which I like. But for me the speakers are so quiet on full volume that I cant even hear my game play up close. It makes me wish I didnt buy this monitor and payed a few more dollars for better speakers. When I tried to set up external speakers, it didnt work. I tried every possible setting on my console and the monitor and still nothing. I checked to make sure it wasnt the speakers by testing them on another monitor and it worked fine on the other one. I still dont know what to do about the sound.

Nice monitor for the money. However, the speakers are lacking. If the speakers were better it would get 5 stars easily.

If you are having trouble getting it to go over 60Hz with the hdmi 2.0 plug, you will have to go (on your Xbox) to console settings/tv & display options/video fidelity & overscan/ and change your overrides to HDMI and it will open up different resolutions and up to 120Hz.

Good monitor for gaming however the internal speakers are super low even at max volume. Definitely need to have a usb speaker set to maximize for games and music.

An excellent budget gaming monitor due to the current GPU shortage and the insane prices Im stuck with a GTX 1080 for the foreseeable future, as a result I didnt want to go beyond a1080P Monitor, but wanted to replace my old 24 75 Hertz panel in my dual monitor setup which died with something that had a bit more oomf. Installation was extremely simple no need to even open the manual which came with the panel, it also came with a Phillips head screw driver to install the four screws which I considered to be a nice little touch. One caveat the monitor comes with a Display Port cable and no HDMI cable, this wasnt a problem for me because it was always my intention to install it via DP and I have a plethora of HDMI cables lying around but those seeking to utilize this through HDMI should be aware. This Panel itself exceeded my expectations, the picture quality is great, colors pop without being too over saturated or washed out, for best results I recommend fine tuning the settings, but you have the option to use one of the suggested presets, This is also my first free sync panel which works with Nvidias Gsync software after enabling the option in the Monitors options menu which allows for very smooth gameplay. Speaking of the Options Menu, the buttons to open and navigate it are located behind the monitor on the right hand side, its a little fiddly because facing the front of the monitor you have no indicators or labels for the buttons and it will take some getting used to in order to navigate the settings. The monitor also has no vertical adjustment and can only be angled up or down which is to be expected for a budget monitor and is hardly worth complaining about. Beyond the minor gripes Ive been very satisfied with my purchase.

Overall, a good buy. not my first sceptre product. I also have a 75hz monitor I still use for gaming at another residence. The only issue with that one, which I also see being an issue with this one is the stand. My 75hz cracked, and I had to buy a third party stand, which was loads better than what It came with. This monitor also has a similar stand construction: very flexy, and plasticy. I do not see it lasting... But if it breaks.. for the price point and value, Ill just buy another stand for 25 bucks thats heavier and durable. Game quality, in my opinion, is great. The step up from 75 to 144 was noticeable. No tearing with vsync, running at 1080p. Games like Division 2, MS Flight Sim, and RAINBOW 6 woke up with this monitor. Most people thing the brand is off brand.. and in a way it is. But youre getting good quality at a lower price point. If this monitor lasts 5+years with heavy gaming, Ive gotten my moneys worth.

I got this expecting a subpar monitor. I was very wrong. This thing has made gaming so much better! Im able to get all 120fps out of my Xbox. Definitely recommended!

So I’ve been a gamer for most of my life. I’ve always been on 60HZ (well 30HZ as well) as I’m a console and pc gamer. But I have to say. 165HZ is a HUUUUGE UPGRADE from 60. I gotta say that this monitor is just great and does well in any scenario. It’s big enough for me and it’s so much better then 60HZ. would reccomend
