12-06-2025I like the monitor. It has a dead pixel. Ive tried the methods Ive found online to remedy but nothing works. I plan on buying another one of these for a dual monitor setup. Worries me I may have to return that one too. Has a lot of back light bleed but the color is nice and the looks of the monitor are really great. Id recommend if you can get a good one

> 3 dayExtremely pleased. Ive owned more expensive monitors in the past, but never thought much of higher framerates. Guess what? I was wrong! Long time gamer (first was a Magnavox Odyssey in the 70s before the Atari 2600) and WOW, my gaming went through the roof in terms of FPS based games like Insurgency Sandstorm and Hell Let Loose. Whereas I was at the top of the leaderboards before, this made my response time amazingly faster (making me feel younger too, lol). Seriously, less eye fatigue (I can go 24 hours looking at a screen) and use it for editing photos too which right out of the box is VERY calibrated. I also put a bias light behind my monitor (you should too) as it makes the blacks darker, colors more vivid, and eliminates eye strain at night or when the monitor shifts from light to dark, like with movies or gaming. I got this one on sale so it was a NO BRAINER! Previous purchase was the 25 version which I wound up giving to my son for college as it fit his small desk space in his first year dorm. One hot pixel almost center screen, stuck on green. doesnt bother me 80% of the time, even while editing. I tried various fixes but havent used the monitor enough to care really (I use it a lot, just not in the capacity that it affects me as other monitor issues have like the dead ant that got stuck behind my laptop screen and looks like a large dust flake, lol). The 25 had NO pixel issues. Quality on Sceptre monitors has been SUPERB. The supplied DP cable is quality and immediately allows me to sync up to 165Hz automatically. Monitor was discovered each and every time by my Win 10 and NVidia card set-up. I have the Freesync setting on and dont know if it makes a difference, and also some kind of sharpening enhancement as I will say, the 25 was definitely different in the way Hell Let Loose looked, right out of the box. This looked... softer(?) and not as crisp, until I turned on these two settings and then, BAM!, perfect!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS MONITOR!

> 3 dayI got this expecting a subpar monitor. I was very wrong. This thing has made gaming so much better! Im able to get all 120fps out of my Xbox. Definitely recommended!

> 3 dayGot this on a lightning deal and for the price i paid i can live with the annoyances. Pros: 165hz for gaming (and for just life in general, i can’t go back to 60hz my eyes won’t let me) Borderless frame 1x dp, 3x hdmi ports (1x 2.0, 2x 1.4) Mine had no dead pixels (for now) Standard color/brightness controls Vesa mount Cheap Cons: Backlight bleed kinda bad (see photo) but when viewing content it’s barely noticeable. Controls on the back hard to reach and figure out what button does what Neutral: Borderless design makes fragile frame

Greater than one weekThe monitor is good overall but it started making a clicking sound, coming from one of the speakers it has. It’s very annoying and probably won’t but again just because it’s a very big distraction and let down for the price that it’s for.

> 3 dayOverall, a good buy. not my first sceptre product. I also have a 75hz monitor I still use for gaming at another residence. The only issue with that one, which I also see being an issue with this one is the stand. My 75hz cracked, and I had to buy a third party stand, which was loads better than what It came with. This monitor also has a similar stand construction: very flexy, and plasticy. I do not see it lasting... But if it breaks.. for the price point and value, Ill just buy another stand for 25 bucks thats heavier and durable. Game quality, in my opinion, is great. The step up from 75 to 144 was noticeable. No tearing with vsync, running at 1080p. Games like Division 2, MS Flight Sim, and RAINBOW 6 woke up with this monitor. Most people thing the brand is off brand.. and in a way it is. But youre getting good quality at a lower price point. If this monitor lasts 5+years with heavy gaming, Ive gotten my moneys worth.

> 3 dayThe monitor is good, does everything it says it can, but hot damn swap out the stand for something more solid. The stand it comes with WILL make the monitor fall over super easily.

> 3 dayOnly thing that bothers me is that it has a 4 black bars, its not 100% screen, but thats ok

> 3 dayI purchased 2 of the Sceptre 27 monitors as upgrades to the 32 inch Samsung TVs I was using. First of all the reason for a change was that the 32s were just a bit too big for how close I sit to my monitors, (about 24-30 inches away.) Secondly, not even being the top of the line TVs they had a poor refresh rate which resulted in a lot of screen tearing. After getting in my 2 new monitors and setting them up with the provided DP cable I turned everything on and went to Youtube for sound check. After playing 9 different songs to check different sound settings, playing with NVIDIA sound settings and windows sound settings I found that - 1. There is no base sound at all 2. Volume turned up to 100% in all available settings = still not being able to hear what was playing from only 24-30 inches away if there was any background noise at all. I got into a chat with tech support who gave me a very specific Taylor Swift video to play then record then send to them via email. After doing so they stated that the sound quality I was receiving was the expected level for these monitors and that I shouldnt expect much from speakers that have no base channel and only getting 2 watts of power. I personally found this very disappointing since the advertised sound quality was, and I quote, -Build-in Speakers -Perfectly suited to work & gaming settings, built-in speakers deliver robust & smooth audio while saving space on your desk. As stated on their product sales page from the Amazon website. There is absolutely nothing even coming close to robust from the sound quality. For a veteran with some hearing loss it is absolutely impossible to justify the sound quality given by these speakers to rate anything higher than extremely poor. As for the picture quality, I find nothing wrong in that department.

> 3 dayPicture quality: Great. Price: Outstanding. Volume: Gameboy Color. The buttons are on the back, find a SOUNDBAR or HEADSET. I also hope theres a remote for this killer product
