> 3 dayThe accuracy of colors with this monitor is quite amazing compared to what I am used to (24 Acer 1080p). Having to get used to all the new screen space though which is a good thing I might add. The total weight of the monitor did surprise me, my old monitor was a light in caparison. Got the feeling a good part of the weight comes from the speakers included not that I will be using them.

> 3 dayAn excellent budget gaming monitor due to the current GPU shortage and the insane prices Im stuck with a GTX 1080 for the foreseeable future, as a result I didnt want to go beyond a1080P Monitor, but wanted to replace my old 24 75 Hertz panel in my dual monitor setup which died with something that had a bit more oomf. Installation was extremely simple no need to even open the manual which came with the panel, it also came with a Phillips head screw driver to install the four screws which I considered to be a nice little touch. One caveat the monitor comes with a Display Port cable and no HDMI cable, this wasnt a problem for me because it was always my intention to install it via DP and I have a plethora of HDMI cables lying around but those seeking to utilize this through HDMI should be aware. This Panel itself exceeded my expectations, the picture quality is great, colors pop without being too over saturated or washed out, for best results I recommend fine tuning the settings, but you have the option to use one of the suggested presets, This is also my first free sync panel which works with Nvidias Gsync software after enabling the option in the Monitors options menu which allows for very smooth gameplay. Speaking of the Options Menu, the buttons to open and navigate it are located behind the monitor on the right hand side, its a little fiddly because facing the front of the monitor you have no indicators or labels for the buttons and it will take some getting used to in order to navigate the settings. The monitor also has no vertical adjustment and can only be angled up or down which is to be expected for a budget monitor and is hardly worth complaining about. Beyond the minor gripes Ive been very satisfied with my purchase.

> 3 dayI really like the monitor, but the main problem is that it came with significant backlight bleed. This was particularly frustrating because there isnt anything you can do about it. Amazon was really good about it, they sent a new one but... this one has just as bad bleed. I would say the monitor is really great if you can get one without the backlight bleed. Ive reached out to Sceptre and it looks like theyre going to fix it. But it would be a five star if I didnt have to go through all this trouble just to get a monitor without giant blots of yellow on the sides.

> 3 dayI don’t know know much about high quality monitors or TV’s. However this monitor is far better than my previous one. The details are sharp and clean. The colors are vibrant and lush. But the speakers sound worse than my IPhones. But that is a minor complaint since I wear headphones while playing. I’ve been playing games at 165 HZ and it is a different experience all together. I love it

11-06-2025Overall, a good buy. not my first sceptre product. I also have a 75hz monitor I still use for gaming at another residence. The only issue with that one, which I also see being an issue with this one is the stand. My 75hz cracked, and I had to buy a third party stand, which was loads better than what It came with. This monitor also has a similar stand construction: very flexy, and plasticy. I do not see it lasting... But if it breaks.. for the price point and value, Ill just buy another stand for 25 bucks thats heavier and durable. Game quality, in my opinion, is great. The step up from 75 to 144 was noticeable. No tearing with vsync, running at 1080p. Games like Division 2, MS Flight Sim, and RAINBOW 6 woke up with this monitor. Most people thing the brand is off brand.. and in a way it is. But youre getting good quality at a lower price point. If this monitor lasts 5+years with heavy gaming, Ive gotten my moneys worth.
