Time will tell how this monitor lasts, thus far Im very impressed with its clarity, sharpness, and features for the bargain price. I use this with a Dell (E7440 14) laptop w/Intel HD graphics and have set it to leverage native YbCr @ 75hz 1920x1080 and it looks really good. Ive been working from home for a few months - and possibly for a while longer - and needed more screen real estate than the ancient 17 LCD monitor I had. Wow, was this an upgrade. I have a really nice 34 Dell monitor at work that I might not see again for a while, and this 24-er does not make me miss that one, which is an older 60hz display on a Dell Optiplex Intel HD desktop. Anyways, it has all the modern features incl blue light shift, night mode, power saving, etc. and has been a pleasure to use. Sceptre was a new brand to me, and Im glad I took a chance. Well see how it performs over time. UPDATE: 4/21 so far so good. No issues to report, pixels all firing. Nice job Sceptre. Still working remotely (mostly) and happy to use this monitor.

This monitor is an excellent monitor for viewing. Easy on the eyes and does not get hot. The only thing I dislike is the speaker quality. It sounds like laptop speakers. Very tinny and weak sound. Would highly recommend getting a sound bar if you want to use it for gaming, video chat, music video or any use that requires good sound quality. I bought 2 of these for a 3 screen setup to add to my existing monitor and did not need to use them for sound but now that my main monitor quit, I need to find another monitor with good speakers. Really wish SCEPTRE took this in consideration when manufacturing the monitors. Overall I would give them 4.5 stars!.

It has this really annoying feature of automatically switching sources, and there is no option to disable it. Dont think for me - I will choose the desired input.

I bought two of these for a dual-monitor setup and have been overall happy with the monitors. The monitors are light weight with a thin border around the screen and the picture quality is great. I installed them on a dual monitor stand that I bought separately so Im not using the monitors original stands and I can report the monitors attach to the VESA mount stand without issues. I was originally planning to plug my speakers in the audio output on one of the monitors to keep the wires on my desk hidden but I ended up abandoning using any audio through these monitors. The audio output on both of my monitors has a ground loop hum so its unbearable unless I use a ground loop isolator to fix the audio. Even with the isolator added the sound volume is really low so I plugged the speakers into my docking station instead. Ive been able to test using audio output through my Dell monitor instead and it works properly, and Ive tested these monitors with a few different computers and see the same behavior on them all. Also, as other commenters mention the audio quality and volume of the monitors built-in speakers is pretty low. If you only used it to listen to voicemails in a really quiet environment theyd probably work fine, but I wouldnt otherwise recommend using the audio functions on this monitor.

Im disappointed in this monitor based on poor verbage in the description. I thought this monitor had BUILT in speakers and it doesnt. The description says BUILD in speakers. I feel this description is misleading. I recently purchased the 27 4k monitor also and that one has built in speakers. So rather than return the 2 i bought with no speakers i will live with the added clutter of external speakers. Other than the speaker issue its a good quality monitor at a good price.

I bought. 25 of these for work. Due to Amazon policy of 5 max per purchase, I made 5 separate purchases over 3 months. What I like: 1. Extremely thin and light. What I dont like 1. Seems that there are 2 versions of these monitors...1/2 of them has different color than the other 1/2. Not that youd notice the difference unless you have them side by side....which is how I tested them before installation. I tried to adjust the color but cant get them to match up. If you want a wall of monitors, which is how I had our set up, youll see a very big difference. Luckily its split 50/50 so I just chose those that match for my 6x2 panel. If you use one per computer you wont tell a difference. Last note: dont buy this monitor for any work with text...the text quality is HORRIBLE. I could not recommend this monitor for text heavy work

I have been using this monitor for quite a while before giving the review. Overall, the Sceptre IPS 24-Inch Computer LED Monitor is a great option for those looking for a budget-friendly and high-quality display. I love it.

Very good image and performance. The sound is very poor. You definitely need speakers for your sound and not just for gaming. If you plan to use this monitor in any way, you must have speakers. The sound quality is so low and poor and broken, it makes it hard to watch videos or listen to anything at all.

At first I thought I received a defective product, but I played around with the picture settings to match the colors on my laptop, and now its pretty identical! Just mess with the settings, and youll love this monitor!
