> 3 dayEasy to install. Much better than using Hardibacker on floors. You will use a bit more mortar, but worth it.

> 3 dayMake very very certain that you lay it down very very flat and never fold it. Once you have a crease you are done for. Your floor will not be flat amd then tiling will be a pain

> 3 dayThis is a good product that was relatively easy to use. In the past we have used the lath and concrete approach for setting tiles. We will most likely go back to the metal lathe and concrete approach, simply because of cost and ease of obtaining supplies. We purchased this product through Amazon and were pleased with the price and service. Thanks, Dennis

Greater than one weekI have completed several tile jobs using the Ditra underlayment, after using cement board for years. The huge benefit is that it can be cut with a razor blade, although it still needs to be cemented down to the subfloor using thinset (as cement board does). The difficult, and time consuming part is trying to fill in all of the squares with thinset when laying the tile. You must move the trowel back and forth in all directions to get the air bubbles out and get every square filled in with thinset. It is very aggravating! I guess its still easier than cutting cement board to fit and installing all the screws in the cement board.
