> 3 dayI bought my first Scribbles That Matter journal last year as a bullet journal and love it. I love the way the cover felt, the quality of the paper, the way it felt to write on it. Definitely quality product, worth the $20. Thus when it came time to start a new year for the spanking new year, I went with another Scribbles That Matter journal. And I was surprised to find that there are some changes to the journal this year. 1) There was a smell when I first opened it. Not too concerned about this as Im sure itll go away. But I do not recall the first one smelling. This along with the other changes that I will go through indicates a change in production facilities but hopefully not in quality. 2) The cover feels different. It feels waxy. Whereas the old one felt nice. Felt better quality. I dont like this new one. Im hoping this is because I got a different color. 3) The pen holder is now a sticker. I like it because I didnt use the pen holder in the previous one. Although I think I prefer the way the pen holder was attached to the first one. It was solid. 4) Theres more pages! The last one has 201 pages. This new one 213! 5) But touching the paper, I immediately felt the difference. When I first opened the first one, I was like Wow, this paper is nice. No wonder its $20. With this one, its rougher. And Im thinking, its just regular ol paper. Im not sure about the writing experience yet. I need to give it a few weeks in the new year to be able to say if the roughness has had an effect on the smoothness of the writing. Im sad about this but jurys still out until I write on it daily. Other minor differences that, as a detail oriented person, feel compel to include: * The icons are printed in lighter ink * The lovely note about the pen test page on the first page is now in regular ol typeface instead of the pretty Scribbles That Matter font Totally happy with my journal last year (5 star) but am kinda meh about it right now (3 star) thus the 4 star review. Ill probably end up getting another STM journal because I want to support small businesses. Hopefully these little things wont make me change my mind.

> 3 dayThis is my third Scribbles A5 and I cant live without it. Mostly use it for bullet journal reasons, but it has many other uses for whatever you need. No pen bleeding or ghosting, lays flat, and has been through the ringer with how rough I can be when shoving it into my bad. I personally feel this product is perfect for beginner bullet journalists and advance users.

> 3 dayThis is my go to journal. Yes it is more expensive, but it is so worth it! Dots on pages help keep everything straight. Page thickness keeps bleed through from happening. Elastic keep it closed and the two page marker ribbons are a bonus.

Greater than one week+ I got this in yellow and in white. Yellow gives off a cheerful vibe while white looks pristine. Id say you can get away with using this white iconic version in a smart casual kind of work setting. + Love the soft touch feel of the cover. + For me, the colour of the pages just has the right shade of white. Not that stark but not too creamy. + It has a pen loop, two ribbons for bookmarks, index pages and pen test sections. + The skull on the cover may have been replaced by a porcupine, but it lives on in one of the inside pages. + Most importantly, it is a pleasure to write on. Less worrying about bleed throughs. The texture is smooth enough but not that slippery. Some cons - The elastic band made a small indentation on the top edge of the back cover. Not a big deal personally, but something to watch out for. - Slight inconsistency noticed between pen loop sizes. I was able to slide the pigma micron pen into the yellow notebook with ease but had to stretch that of the white one for a bit.

> 3 dayI was nervous about getting this one because everyone says STM changed their paper and is likely to smudge your pens. However I was delighted to see that I had no problems with smudging. It does smudge slightly but it isn’t terrible. I will say tho that this paper isn’t goof for watercoloring. It does slightly wrinkle and the paper does shed slightly. It does have minimal ghosting with darker and thicker markers and no bleed through. Over all really good for bullet journaling!
