> 3 dayThis journal is amazing for unleashing your creativity. I have used watercolor, markers, and fountain pens with no bleed through. Well, a little bleed through with the watercolor on the July cover page, but that’s just because I super saturated the page with water. Even then it wasn’t that bad. I can easily cover up the backside with some markers or stickers. The only downside to the super thick cardstock-like pages is that if you want to add any printables, washi tape, stickers, etc the book starts to bulge. Perhaps they could make a larger or more flexible spine. I do a lot of printable cover pages on label or sticker paper because sometimes I’m just too lazy to get around to it. So many great resources out there. My journal looks like it might fall apart in the future if I’m too rough with it but so far it has held up to a lot of abuse. If you want to use a variety of media in your bullet journal, this is your best bet. Just be careful not to add too much thickness to the pages. I’m super satisfied though and have had no issues.

> 3 dayAlways my favorite bullet journal. And I love the new true white page color! This is my 5th time purchasing a STM, and I’ve never regretted it.

> 3 dayI like the look of the book and the pages are a good quality. I wish the back pocket was reinforced more. Its just paper glued onto the back cover. I think laminated paper or reinforced would last longer.

> 3 daySuper cute and fun bullet journal! Thick pages (no ink bleeding through!), faint dots that do not distract, and numbered pages...bonus! Sturdy, colorful, and perfect for the beginner or expert bullet journaler!

> 3 dayThis notebook is a replacement for my current STM in purple. This time, I opted for the plain Pro cover in green. While my notebook arrived and is beautiful, its green with the embossed cover. I now wouldnt buy these for others due to the risk of getting them the wrong journal, but I am a big fan of these notebooks overall. The paper thickness is wonderful, the dots are just right, and theyre very sturdy. I also love the pen, its loop, and back pocket! If I had one complaint about construction overall, it would be requesting a third ribbon bookmark. Its not a dealbreaker for me, (I just sew one in) but it could be annoying for someone else.

> 3 dayIt arrived in a padded soft Amazon envelope. I was initially concerned it would have some damage from shipping (some of the books I’ve ordered thru Amazon have arrived that way, but had bruised corners or damage to the spine). However, Scribbles That Matter package their journals in a heavy, clear plastic box, keeping them safe during shipping. The cover is as advertised: buttery soft faux leather. The pages are very soft and thick. The pen test page at the back let me try out all my pens for ghosting and bleed and enabled me to decide what I was going to be happiest with. I’ll be using a Pigma Micron .03 fineliner for layouts and design, a Tombow Brush Pen for headings, Zebra Mildliners for color, and a Sharpie Pen for traveling with and daily note taking. This is my first Scribbles that Matter journal and I’m very happy with the quality of their product. Would purchase again.

> 3 dayI love these journals, and use them pretty much exclusively. The last time I ordered I asked for lavender and they sent me blue. I returned it and asked for a replacement, stating what happened. They sent me a blue one again. I would have given 5 stars, because I do love these, but I want the color that I asked for. Not sure why the distributor isn’t sending the right one…. Labeling issue?

> 3 dayAs I student, and as a working adult, I have a lot of things that I need to keep track of. I have been trying the bullet journal system on and off for weeks, trying to find the specific notebook for me, and the Scribbles That Matter Pro A5 dotted journal has so far been one of the most exemplary products I have tried for this method. Many notebooks in the past that I have tried have not felt durable for when I need to carry the notebook everywhere with me. The covers would be too thin, or the elastic would be thin and the covers thick, leading the elastic holder to break easily. I also noticed that some had a problem with the stitching or glueing of the spine and the pages becoming loose. That didn’t happen with the Scribbles That Matter notebook. The cover and the elastic were just thick enough to be durable but not prevent the notebook from being opened or lay flat when I need it, and it didn’t create a bulky feeling if needed to be put into a purse to be carried. The paper is very well manufactured too, with the 100 gsm allowing for very minimal ghosting or bleeding on the pages, unlike in some notebooks where the paper is thin and just absorbs wet mediums or ghosts badly to the other side of pages. The notebook also has benefits some other notebooks did not, such as a preprinted space for an index, key, and color coordination in the beginning. It did take up a few pages, but it also meant I didn’t have to worry about my own set up of the pages being unsatisfactory to me should I not like how they turn out. There is also two bookmarks, almost a standard across the BUJO usability at this point; each was the two colors of the notebook which led to a whole continuity, theme, color scheming brand going on, but also helps keep track of specific spots if the bookmarks are used separately. Over all, this notebook is one of the best for beginners, and while it’s not perfect, it’s a great place to start before diving deeper into the bullet journaling system.
