> 24 hourI moved my laptop, tablet, chargers, and cables to this backpack as my bigger one was getting too heavy with it also doubling as my emergency bug-out bag. Everything fits well. The laptop pocket has padding on both the front and the back so it provides as much protection as can be expected. Three additional sub-pockets are in the laptop pocket. There is a strap in the laptop compartment that has a Velcro end. The strap holds down everything in the pockets. The laptop pocket is on the strap side of the backpack. The next forward pocket has more room than the laptop pocket. Perfect for mouse, adaptors, and cables. Even a small portable printer. A shallow pocket in front of that pocket is just the right size to keep my reading glasses case in. The front most pocket I use for extra things that are just for day use. The stitching is solid, and the material is stiff. There are two small pockets on the sides that are made of mesh and have elastic along the tops. Perfect size for a small flashlight, wallet, passport, etc. Things you need quick access to. The only problem I have found is that it is weak in the middle from top to bottom. It folds over on itself. So far, with my tablet in it but the laptop removed, it has flopped off the bed, my chair, and a table at work. You cant leave it standing when you take something out or put something in. Always ensure it is laying down or it will lay itself down, usually down to the floor. The backstraps are easily adjusted and have a wide range of lengths. They have some padding with a mesh covering. There is a top handle so it can be carried like a briefcase and a strap across the back so it can be set on top of a wheeled suitcase with a handle, with the handle going through the strap. Perfect size and well-constructed, lots of room and good padding, just remember to lay it down.

> 24 hourI am using this as a work backpack, but it would be just as great as a travel backpack. There are numerous amounts of pockets! One of the zippers opens completely so you can pack a set of clothes. I really enjoy how within each pocket, there is a place to put other smaller miscellaneous items so that they dont roll around. Also, the color (red) just looks super cool! It is a great contrast and change from the normal black, blue, or gray backpacks. It is very comfy to carry around! Cant wait to use it more. Seems like the zippers and stitching will last a long time.

> 24 hourGreat buy! Everything fits just perfect. It’s like they asked me what I needed then made it. Its not bulky at all unless you stuff it. It seems to just take everything you put in it. Kinda like watching my brother eat.

> 24 hourFull disclosure: I received this item as part of the Vine review program. Second disclosure: I liked this backpack enough that I bought two more, one for my wife and one for my teen son. These really are great backpacks. The vendor already has a handful of decent photos of the bag so Im not adding any new ones (unless anybody has specific questions later), but I want to point out something that I myself looked right past when reviewing those original photos: This bag has two main sections, not one... and the bag has a zipper that COMPLETELY unzips around the two sides and top. This allows the bag to unfold like an open book, exposing one of the two main sections -- presumably where you might keep a laptop -- to make it easy for screening through an airport. But that ALSO makes it really easy to pack, whether youre using a laptop or not. I no longer carry a laptop for travel myself, but this sure makes it a lot easier to pack folded clothes or compression bags. I will also mention that I REALLY like that the little USB/headphone/cord opening is just that: an OPENING, rather than an external USB plug that Ive seen on other bags. At first you might think the USB plug is a good idea... but are using an A plug, or the quickly-becoming-common C plug? Right. Oh, and what if you really want to bring out a headphone cord rather than power? Right again. What about BOTH? Yeah... you might now see why just having the plain opening slot is more convenient in the long run. The material is heavy denier or something similar. It isnt waterproof since it has zippers, obviously, but it does shed water quickly, so Ill never worry about rain with this thing. It does fit under an airline seat (as confirmed from a trip I took last week), and the padding that contacts your back is comfy enough. A strap to let it sit on your check-in roller bag is a nice plus. I also really appreciate having the water bottle holders on BOTH sides. A very good option. No disappointments.

> 24 hourI have bought relatively inexpensive backpacks online previously and been consistently disappointed with the quality of the item I receive. Honestly I have resigned myself to needing to buy another backpack every year as none of them seem to last very long. This bag exceeds all of my expectations. It feels sturdy throughout, I am able to fit a full gaming laptop plus a 2nd computer (a smaller windows-based convertible PC/tablet) with both chargers, and a mouse and microphone, with no difficulty at all. I could slip several more books in to this pack, or some clothes, as well. There are numerous compartments, all of which are easy to access. I appreciate the strap to help reinforce the contents of the main laptop compartment, to keep the computer more securely held in place. Granted, I had relatively low expectations for this based on my previous let-downs with backpacks -- but I was truly blown away by how well built this one is. I think itll last through several years of abuse, Ill update my review if I run in to any problems but that is not expected given the build quality and the overall feel of the materials. Its a very good value.
