> 3 dayIve been struggling to find a bag I liked for my 17 laptop. I dont travel with it often, but I absolutely want it protected when I do. This bag is a great size, with plenty of compartments for organizing. I like the padded straps, and padded back. My only slight complaint is a cosmetic/style one. I dislike the red reflector-like tabs on it. You can see them in the picture, but in person theyre a little more jarring to the eye. Like I said, a minor complaint, and certainly just a personal preference one as opposed to there being anything at all functionally wrong with the bag. This is going to keep my laptop safe, hold its accessories, and possibly even hold enough else to make it the only bag Id need for a short (1-2 day) trip.

> 3 dayI needed a roomy but not too big backpack to take on a train and this worked perfectly. Lots of sections and plenty of space.

> 3 dayIt is a pretty basic pack. My HP laptop fit fine. There is a fair amount of padding across the shoulders for the laptop corners, but if I had a heavy laptop Id wish more padding in the back. There is a pass-through for wires (pictured), a detachable key ring (which a skilled pickpocket might easily access, if he could unzip the outside pocket and push the big plastic button to release the key ring), a couple of cinch straps with buckles across the sides--I guess to shrink ones profile in elevators and subways--and a small mesh zipper pocket, suitable for a pair of socks or a small cheese, or some other item requiring ventilation. There are two large zipper compartments, a big mesh pocket in the laptop section, and two outside zipper compartments, the rearmost of which has the small mesh pocket, next to a phone pocket, all mounted on economy fabric. The straps are covered with breathable mesh (third photo). The padding on the straps is pretty thin. I would not want to haul heavy items in this pack, though the choice of fabric on the straps might be more comfortable in hot weather.

> 3 dayIt’s not too heavy but has the sturdiness I need. I like the reflectors and many pockets even for electronics. I was wondering what the dumpling sound in the pockets was. It helps make it waterproof! I will be using it for a replacement of my go bag (emergency bag).

> 3 dayIll primarily use this for work. It will easily hold my laptop and lunch, and whatever work-related stuff I need to bring back and forth to the office (I work 2 days from home a week, 3 days in the office). Its the perfect size for using it this way. It is very light and comfortable. For travel, Ill probably use it as a carry-on, without my laptop (unless I need to bring it with me). I should be able to pack enough it in for a weekend get away. Everything about this backpack is good.

> 3 dayI got this backpack to replace my 20 year old one. I am quite impressed with this backpack. It is roomy, sturdy, and has lots of useful features. I really like the number of different pockets and compartments on this pack to help keep things organized. The front has two compartments, a small zipper pocket on the top and a larger multiple compartment, zippered pouch on the bottom. Inside the bottom pouch are four smaller compartments, one being mesh and zippered, as well as a key attachment. This is great for keeping my small and frequently accessed items handy and organized. There are two mesh bottle holders on either side, as well. The back of the pack is very well padded and covered with breathable mesh. The straps are also nicely padded. I love that it has a strap for attaching the pack to a luggage handle. I always struggled trying to keep my old pack or laptop case attached to my wheeled luggage. The interior pockets are all lined with a nylon material that seems to be at least water resistant, possibly water proof. I poured a little water on it and it just beaded up, rather than soaking through. Im confident this bag will keep my things dry in wet weather. The bag has two main compartments. The front one is roomy and has one slip-in pocket. I was easily able to fit a fluffy fleece jacket into it. The second compartment is for a laptop. This compartment is unusual in that the zipper goes all the way around 3+ sides allowing the the pack can be completely opened up and laid out flat. (The ad said this was helpful for airport security, but Im not so sure. They always want my laptop out of the bag when passing through security). There are two padded pockets that can be used to hold a full size laptop plus a tablet and a hook-and-loop strap to keep them from falling out. My 15.7 laptop fit with lots of room to spare. The opposite side has a mesh pocket. My only wish is that this pack had a front chest strap, something I find quite helpful. I will likely just fashion up something with a piece of webbing and a buckle. There are two hand-grab straps on the main shoulder straps that I can attach it to. I am quite happy with this pack and confident enough it that I am planning on taking it as one of my two pieces of luggage on an upcoming three month trip.

07-06-2025Can unzip all the way almost flat to show laptop, but most airports I go through still want the laptop out of the bag and in a tray anyways. It has so so amount of padding for the laptop slot, but the part I dont like is whatever the padding material is in there crinkles loudly, like really loud, it cant be foam, dont know what it is. Basic backpack other than that. Decent shoulder strap padding, adjustable. I wouldnt call it waterproof by any means, maybe splash resistant. Fit my heavy 17 inch class gaming laptop just fine.
