> 3 dayI am using this as a work backpack, but it would be just as great as a travel backpack. There are numerous amounts of pockets! One of the zippers opens completely so you can pack a set of clothes. I really enjoy how within each pocket, there is a place to put other smaller miscellaneous items so that they dont roll around. Also, the color (red) just looks super cool! It is a great contrast and change from the normal black, blue, or gray backpacks. It is very comfy to carry around! Cant wait to use it more. Seems like the zippers and stitching will last a long time.

> 3 dayI needed a roomy but not too big backpack to take on a train and this worked perfectly. Lots of sections and plenty of space.

> 3 dayIve been struggling to find a bag I liked for my 17 laptop. I dont travel with it often, but I absolutely want it protected when I do. This bag is a great size, with plenty of compartments for organizing. I like the padded straps, and padded back. My only slight complaint is a cosmetic/style one. I dislike the red reflector-like tabs on it. You can see them in the picture, but in person theyre a little more jarring to the eye. Like I said, a minor complaint, and certainly just a personal preference one as opposed to there being anything at all functionally wrong with the bag. This is going to keep my laptop safe, hold its accessories, and possibly even hold enough else to make it the only bag Id need for a short (1-2 day) trip.

> 3 dayFull disclosure: I received this item as part of the Vine review program. Second disclosure: I liked this backpack enough that I bought two more, one for my wife and one for my teen son. These really are great backpacks. The vendor already has a handful of decent photos of the bag so Im not adding any new ones (unless anybody has specific questions later), but I want to point out something that I myself looked right past when reviewing those original photos: This bag has two main sections, not one... and the bag has a zipper that COMPLETELY unzips around the two sides and top. This allows the bag to unfold like an open book, exposing one of the two main sections -- presumably where you might keep a laptop -- to make it easy for screening through an airport. But that ALSO makes it really easy to pack, whether youre using a laptop or not. I no longer carry a laptop for travel myself, but this sure makes it a lot easier to pack folded clothes or compression bags. I will also mention that I REALLY like that the little USB/headphone/cord opening is just that: an OPENING, rather than an external USB plug that Ive seen on other bags. At first you might think the USB plug is a good idea... but are using an A plug, or the quickly-becoming-common C plug? Right. Oh, and what if you really want to bring out a headphone cord rather than power? Right again. What about BOTH? Yeah... you might now see why just having the plain opening slot is more convenient in the long run. The material is heavy denier or something similar. It isnt waterproof since it has zippers, obviously, but it does shed water quickly, so Ill never worry about rain with this thing. It does fit under an airline seat (as confirmed from a trip I took last week), and the padding that contacts your back is comfy enough. A strap to let it sit on your check-in roller bag is a nice plus. I also really appreciate having the water bottle holders on BOTH sides. A very good option. No disappointments.

> 3 dayIt fit my 17 laptop! Comfortably. The backpack has support straps for the laptop compartment so that your laptop doesnt accidentally fall onto the table when you unzip the full zippers. There is a lot of space in the other compartments of the backpack for electronic gear and/or clothing for a couple of days. External pockets for access to things that you want to get to easily are provided on the outside, and two mesh pockets on the side for a water bottle or glasses case, etc. Overall, the materials are high quality, and the design has the things that I want in a travel bag.

> 3 dayIt is a pretty basic pack. My HP laptop fit fine. There is a fair amount of padding across the shoulders for the laptop corners, but if I had a heavy laptop Id wish more padding in the back. There is a pass-through for wires (pictured), a detachable key ring (which a skilled pickpocket might easily access, if he could unzip the outside pocket and push the big plastic button to release the key ring), a couple of cinch straps with buckles across the sides--I guess to shrink ones profile in elevators and subways--and a small mesh zipper pocket, suitable for a pair of socks or a small cheese, or some other item requiring ventilation. There are two large zipper compartments, a big mesh pocket in the laptop section, and two outside zipper compartments, the rearmost of which has the small mesh pocket, next to a phone pocket, all mounted on economy fabric. The straps are covered with breathable mesh (third photo). The padding on the straps is pretty thin. I would not want to haul heavy items in this pack, though the choice of fabric on the straps might be more comfortable in hot weather.

> 3 dayCan unzip all the way almost flat to show laptop, but most airports I go through still want the laptop out of the bag and in a tray anyways. It has so so amount of padding for the laptop slot, but the part I dont like is whatever the padding material is in there crinkles loudly, like really loud, it cant be foam, dont know what it is. Basic backpack other than that. Decent shoulder strap padding, adjustable. I wouldnt call it waterproof by any means, maybe splash resistant. Fit my heavy 17 inch class gaming laptop just fine.

> 3 dayIm 69 but still like a backpack as my carry on and this one worked perfect. It held my basics for a day, meds, snacks and water bottle there was even space to pack my folding cane. It seems pretty well made and it was comfortable while on
