    Greater than one week

Save your self some $$ Cheaper than Prime, and WAY WAY more efficient that Stress Coat. (I do still get prime to dose my smaller tanks, this is hard to dose those)

Works great and lasts forever. Need very little even in the fish room when dechlorinating 275 gallons at a time.

Incredible chemical, used 3 teaspoons in 4000 + litre pond and hey presto no more ammonia. Wish I had found lot earlier.

By far the best product of its type on the market. A little goes a long way against chlorine and chloramine. A fantastic get out of jail card against ammonia and more importantly nitrite s spikes.

Small bottle but you use so little it will last forever. Just wish the extreme tiny spoon wasnt designed for a 50 gallon measure. Its kinda hard to guess what to put in for weekly water changes which aremuch smaller. My tanks are only 3, 6, 10, 24,and 30 gallon, not many i know rum big tanks

Great value for money. A store cupboard must for a fish keeper.

This stuff is fantastic. Best water conditioner available? Check. Detoxifies Ammonia, Nitrates and Nitrites? Check. Lasts forever and represents great value for money? Check. Reputable brand? Check. Perfect compliment to a Seneye for Ammonia spikes? Check. This is just Seachem Prime, but in a powdered form. It can be a little tricky to work out the dosage for your tank, but luckily I have a very large tank so its not too bad. You get slightly over 1kg as well, which is nice! I really cant recommend this enough. It should be in every aquarists cupboard.

The Best! You use so little. We do lots of water changes and raise angelfish. This has been completely SAFE!

WOW!!!!!!!! Buy the 1 Kilo and be done for the rest of your life for water treatment. Smells just like the farty Seachem Prime and just as effective. Be aware that 1/4th a TSP or 1.25 grams does 300 Gallons!!!! I ended up calling Seachem Support, who mind you are stellar people and very helpful, who sent me a smaller spoon. I ended up getting a small scale that could detect small gram changes so I can measure out the best quantity for a 20 to 50 gallon water change.

Sachem Safe Water Conditioner Safe is the complete and concentrated dry conditioner for both fresh and salt water. Safe removes chlorine, chloramine and ammonia. Safe converts ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tank"s bio filter. Safe may be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia/nitrite toxicity. Safe detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the bio filter to more efficiently remove them. Safe is non-acidic and will not impact ph. Safe will not over activate skimmers. Use at start-up and whenever adding or replacing water. Safe is the dry version of Prime(R) and shares all of it"s advantages; however, Safe is even more concentrated than Prime(R) . Product Features: Works great with freshwater and saltwater aquariums Non-acidic and won"t impact pH Will not over activate skimmers Item Specifications: Sizes: 8oz 2.2lb 8.8lb Directions: To remove-(Directions for 8.8oz or higher) Chlorine: use 5 g (1 tsp.*) to each 1625 L (450 gallons*) of tap water (removes 4 ppm). Chloramine: use 5 g (1 tsp.*) to each 1250 L (300 gallons*) of tap water (removes 4 ppm). Ammonia: use 5 g (1 tsp.*) to each 400 L (100 gallons*) of tap water (removes 4 ppm). Do not overdose To detoxify nitrite/nitrate in an emergency situation use up to 5 g (1 tsp.*) to each 400 L (100 gallons*). Use fish to gauge toxicity reduction as test kits will still show presence of nitrite/nitrate even when detoxified. May be added to aquarium directly, but is better if added to new water first. If adding directly to aquarium, base dose on aquarium volume. If temperature is > 30 C (86 F) cut dosing in half.
