Seachem Stability - For Freshwater and Marine Aquariums 250ml

Ive been using for at least a month and dont see where it really contributes anything to my tank

Did not know about cycling a tank until after it was too late. This really helped get us through that new tank business.

Didnt lose any fish this time with a start up tank.

Ok, so I’ve got sort of a product review!! Seachem Stabilty, actually works! And works FAST!! On may 31st I rescued a betta, and because it was an emergency situation, I did not have a cycled tank ready for him. I immediately started dosing with Prime and on June 3rd I got Stability and started using it, and tested the water for the past 6 days. The first 2 days there was an ammonia spike, then a tiny nitrite spike, and now on day 6 the tank appears to be completely cycled!! I’m going to do a water change and test the water again tomorrow to be sure, but wow! I’m impressed. The ONLY things from a cycled tank that I put in here are so cuttings from plants, and I can’t imagine they had much beneficial bacteria on them to speed the cycle along, making me believe Seachem Stability is really good at what it does! (Nitrates are a little high because I’m still figuring out the right dosing on easy green on this smaller tank, and that’s why I’m doing a water change off schedule lol)

Ive had a pretty stubborn tank that would not cycle no matter what I tried, so I opted for this. It really helped to keep all of my tanks in check, although the tank that wouldnt cycle still had some pretty huge ammonia swings while using this. I would recommend after large water changes or if you have to replace your media!

So far so good. Ive been fish-in cycling with a 10-gallon for about 5 days now. I use this and Prime. The fish seems great and the water measurements show no ammonia, nitrites, or nitrates. One weird thing was that the pH went down to 6.0 for about a day. Keeping a close eye, but it seems this was the right choice.

Love this product I have used it a long time. This bottle arrived with no lid just the tin seal on top so thats a bummer.

I was using other products to help me cycle my tank after a sudden ammonia spike. With other products it took me 3 weeks to cycle with my African dwarf frogs but I decided to take a shot at the stability and within 4 days it was fully cycled and no issues whatsoever. I will definitely purchase again.

As with all seachem products , this one does not come up short. In fact this might be the best one they have . Great for establishing beneficial bacteria in a new or existing aquarium. Would recommend to anyone.
