Seachem Stability - For Freshwater and Marine Aquariums 250ml

Love Seachem Stability been using Seachem products from the start when I first started my aquarium hobby.

My aquarium was almost done cycling. I had PH 7.8, Ammonia 1ppm, Nitrite 2.0ppm and Nitrate 40ppm. I have a 6.5 gallon aquarium and I dosed a capful of Stability. I checked my parameters again in 25 hours and my test came out PH 7.8, Ammonia .5ppm, Nitrite .25ppm and Nitrate 80ppm. I am surprise this stuff actually works.

I received an opened bottle with nothing in it and there was no lid in the package for the bottle.

About two weeks ago I bought a 20 gal. long to add more Betta fish to my growing collection. I had it up and running with only an air pump for 3 days with two of my Sarasa goldfish, just to get a good amount of ammonia going. Once they had enough ammonia in the water, I removed them and put them back in their tank and started setting up the decorations, sand, heater, filter, etc. at this point my water parameters were, as you can imagine, off the charts. I started dosing my aquarium with SeaChem Stability as the instructions said, however I added an extra half a cap every night before bed. half way through the SeaChem treatment, I added two of my bettas into the tank (divided) to see how they reacted to the water. They seem to really love their new home and here we are 9 days and one 50% water change later, my tank parameters are perfect, no fin rot or any diseases, no stressed fish. Ill definitely be using Seachem more often, and Id highly recommend this product to anyone who wants fish but doesnt want to wait for months it to cycle completely.

Great for starting a new tank

I use this any time I set up my quarantine tanks. (Any time I bring home a new fish it goes in a QT tank for a few weeks to observe and make sure it doesnt bring infection to my existing tank full of fish.) I do use a cycled sponge filter from an existing tank but I dont want to risk killing my new fish. Just add this and it helps cycle the new tank. Unlike Tetra safe Start this is also safe to use with Seachem Prime which should be used with each water change to dechlorinate.

I assumed that when I ordered this that it would come with a lid for the bottle. Bad assumption! It came in the mail today, and when I opened the box, there was no lid on the bottle. The seal has not been broken so the contents arent exposed but I guess its on me to find a container to put the contents in so that it doesnt spill all over the place once the bottle is opened.

This works great! Cycled my tank very quickly and keeps my water testing results perfect! Stability keeps my water very clear! I would highly recommend it and I will keep a bottle on hand at all times!
