I use this to back up my C: drive and NAS. It does not require a separate power supply, drawing power through the USB-3 cable. It is quiet, and very easy to transport.

This drive is GREAT!! When I first opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised by how small it was. I bought it for my XBOX One X. I connected it and within 5 seconds it was ready to be used! NO Lie. This was so refreshing compared to what I went through last week when I made the HUGE mistake of buying a WD MyBook 4TB from a different site. For the past 30+ years I was a programmer/analyst, I also used to build PCs for myself, my family and friends. Ive never had any luck with WD drives, but last week I thought I would give them another chance. It died within 2 days!! Ive never, ever had any problems with Seagate. This is my second Seagate Backup Plus drive. First one is still in use after several years on an earlier computer. Ive never had any issues or problems with either.

Easy to use, just plug n start backing up Your data. The transfer speed is great and the space is just right for todays requirements.

Due to the size of this device can back-up my entire computer and have the ability to store pictures and other files just in case there is a problem with my main computer. Piece of mind.

i use these for archiving client products for video productions i do for clients, to save room on my working external hard drives. never had any issues with performance. you get good value for the money.

I own several external hard drives and out of all of them only the Seagate ones have been trouble-free. They just work and keep on working. I have small form factor (2-1/2) portable USB hard drives in sizes from 1 TB to 4 TB, and theyve all given trouble free service. I love to have seagate hard drives. Also i would recommend my friends to go for seagate hard drives. It is different from other storage drives, as the speed of the drive is very unique when we compare with other drives. We can purchase with amazon anytime as it is available for all the users with good price.

Its a very good external harddrive but its storage wasnt fully 5tb but was packing some few gbs.

I am super happy with this external HDD, works perfectly and the shipping was really fast. Definitely i will buy it again soon.
