I really enjoyed this book. Delaney was a strong , confident woman who was a helicopter pilot. Tuck a SEAL who Delaney had the Hots for but didnt want to get involve with a SEAL and she stated she doesnt need a man in her life. Tuck had the Hots for Delaney and he didnt want to share her but he did not want a relationship. Not going to spoil the rest but I was on edge during the book but the end was Awesome . Great Job Elle James

‘Seal’s Honor’ Take No Prisoners Series – A Military Romance By: Elle James RT Book Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ RT Cover Rating: ♦♦♦♦♦ Reed Tucker (Tuck) to his buddies, raised on a Texas ranch, a U.S. Navy Seal, the best of the Navy’s best, the most highly skilled, highly trained elite group in the Navy. Hard bodied and good looking, of course are there any ugly SEALs? I don’t think so. He was taught to respect women, take care of them, keep them from harm, but never get too close. Tuck, part of Strike Force Dragon, a six man team assigned to the Middle East hunting and taking out Taliban insurgents, a hard, dangerous and deadly job but one he loved. But he does have one hang up, he harbors a deep fear of commitment with women. His parents, divorcing and remarrying several times has left a bad taste in his mouth and he just does not believe in love. He doesn’t think love is real and thus has not let himself get close to any woman, and there have been plenty in his young life. Not until Delany walks into his life. Delany O’Connell, a highly trained and skilled Army Black Hawk pilot, the first female to be assigned duty as a pilot on co-op missions in the war. Part of the 160th Aviation Regiment “Night Stalkers”, she could fly her bird into the worst of the worst of situations, bound and determined to do everything right, no mistakes that could cost human lives. Lives of her flight crew and the elite Navy Seals that she transports. Delany has always had one rule, not to get involved with damned SEALs with their massive biceps and quads; she was not into long term relationships with men who may not come home. She knows the risks and has been there and done that and wasn’t going to repeat it. A good looking woman, blond hair, a little slip of a gal, but built like a rock and could take care of herself in most situations due to her intense military training. Delany and Tuck end up in up on a training mission in Little Creek, Virginia, home to the Navy SEALs where they become friends being in such close contact with their training and soon their friendship escalates into a sexual relationship. Not a big problem with either of them as they both have agreed to not become overly involved, never to let their hearts enter into the equation. But as fate has it, you can imagine what happens. This is a romance book after all. They find themselves in Afganistan involved in a highly dangerous mission op that turns their lives upside down. With another Seal proposing to Delany, Tuck not admitting his true feelings for Delany, the twists and turns in this book will keep you glued to the pages. I really, really liked this book. It’s very military based which I felt right at home with as I’m so closely involved with the military myself. The author uses a lot of military lingo in the book so you might find it a little confusing at first, but you’ll catch on soon enough. There is a lot of fighting action in the book that will give you a good insight to what military live is like along with the hazards and dangers that our men and women face each day fighting in the name of freedom. The author did her homework, and even though it’s a rather short book you will gain a new respect for the military way of life. There was only one error that I saw in the story as far as grammar boo boos and I thought that the editing was good in that respect. The author keeps the story moving, it doesn’t drag and bore you to tears. There are a lot of twists and turns in the story line and the characters are lively and will bring you into their lives through telling their story. The sex scenes in the book are very clean, not raunchy and in good taste from the author. Which is refreshing to me, after reading some that get so down and dirty it’s kind of sickening? All in all though it was a very good read I wish that it would have been a longer story though as it was definitely my cup of tea.

Love a seal love story. (So I like to get away from reality). I know Seals are no sexier than Fireman, policemen, etc., etc. I just love that the Seals in these stories find love. They have an important job as well as dangerous. Its been said that SEALS dont have a great record for love and marriage. These stories help to squelch these findings....just for a while.

I really enjoyed this book, and if you like hot Seals and strong women you will love this one. Two buddys in love with the same woman, a war zone, a beautiful pilot makes for a lot of action of the heart as well as on the ground. I dont want to spoil this for you so I will just say you will not be disappointed in this book.

I started this book as an audiobook because I was looking for a new narrator to listen to and Kaleo Griffith was highly recommended. Gotta say, I didnt take to him much. His voice really didnt do it for me. Top that with the fact that the nature of the story didnt sit well with me, I decided not to keep going with this. I dont know if I would have liked this story more if I had merely read it rather than tried to listen to it as an audiobook. Not sure. Im thinking at some point, I might go back and give it a shot at some point to check it out via reading cos I thought the writing itself was good and I dont want to write Ms James off as a writer. That would be unfair when it was the narrator of the audiobook I didnt take to.

Delaney at the beginning doesnt believe in marriage. Tuck is a SEAL who doesnt believe in marriage either. But when one of his best friends loses his arm and she agrees to marry him, then he must realize he loves her or lose her. Fair story. At first she is against marriage then BOOM! She keeps getting upset because Tuck doesnt proclaim his undying love for her.
